TRP is a post-Great War AU RWBY RP set in Mistral City and Haven Academy with no canons, no rank claims, no maidens, and no god interference. We offer a progression system and site-wide events that change the setting based on player actions.
Also note that upgrades only apply to threads that are started after the timestamp of the ability being accepted by a staffer unless otherwise agreed to by all participants. This means that if you're currently in a thread and your Marksmanship ability gets accepted when you're at post cycle 3, you can't use that marksmanship skill no matter how long that thread goes because you didn't have it when the thread started.
Secondary Category: Combatants, Obstacle, Hazard, Social. Usable at one rank lower than semblance, or if same category is chosen twice a flat +1 to all rolls.
One Sentence Summary of Semblance: [Character Name] has the [semblance type] semblance of [semblance name] which allows the wielder to [specify mechanical benefits].
1) Not doing math. Me doing everyone's math means less time for threads or impactful admin work.
2) Not specifying which abilities are being upgraded. I can't know this.
3) Misrepresenting XP totals for new player rewards you wouldn't otherwise qualify for. This is cheating. Total XP means all XP earned, not spent. If you're sitting on 1000XP, you don't get to claim upsized catch-up rewards for new players by ignoring that you have that thousand.
As of 04/17/21, #3 will result in experience penalties. Normally this is done by not counting unspent XP in the calculation of total XP, so you'd lose all unspent XP in addition to getting the lesser of the two new character bonuses. This is because this behavior has been consistent, and I assume that it will quickly stop once there are actual consequences.
