Weapon Name: Mule
Rank of Weapon(s): F
Category: Combatants
Description of Weapons(s): Mule is an M1 Garand rifle that Adrian received from his dad when he turned 16. A decommissioned relic from the Faunus war, Adrian took it upon himself to repair the gun to its former glory
A task that would prove more... difficult than he initially expected.
A lack of easily accessible blueprints and parts, not helped by his subpar gunsmithing skills, meant that it would take over 4 years for him to repair it.
And even then, the gun is of questionable quality at best, pretty much held together by hope alone.
But despite all of that, the gun, as its name indicates, kicks like a mule. Both to the person on the wrong end of the muzzle, and the one pressing the trigger.
He also has the bayonet that was issued with the gun, which he carries in a sheat on his belt for close-combat situations. Or, if ever needed be, to be affixed on the gun.
Name of Non-Combat Ability: Gun Designing
Rank of Non-Combat Ability: D
Category: Social.
Description of Non-Combat Ability: With over 10 years of studying under his belt mixed with natural talent, Adrian is by no means your run-of-the-mill gun designer. Although he mostly spends his time doing wacky designs that are either commercially or physically unviable.
But, from time to time, he manages to get his head on the game and actually design an improvement over existing guns or creating a promising, experimental one.
Name of Non-Combat Ability: Cooking
Rank of Non-Combat Ability: E
Category: Social.
Description of Non-Combat Ability: Having left his home once he turned 18, Adrian learned the hard way that one cannot survive on microwaved food for a long time. Thus, a long, hazardous road appeared in front of him.
The road of learning to cook.
Slowly and painfully, blood, tears, and sweat were sacrificed during the journey. But it all paid off. As now, Adrian is more than capable of pulling off dishes that require more than average skill.
Name of Non-Combat Ability: Gunsmithing
Rank of Non-Combat Ability: F
Category: Social.
Description of Non-Combat Ability: Despite being a brilliant gun designer, Adrian is a rather subpar gunsmith himself. What prototypes he manages to put together tend to suffer from malfunctions on their tests due to mistakes he commits in the building process.
The failures tend to range from several jams all the way up to catastrophic failures, the last one being far more common than he would ever admit.
This is by no means helped by the fact that Adrian vehemently refuses to have anyone but himself working on prototyping his designs.
Name of Non-Combat Ability: Singing
Rank of Non-Combat Ability: F
Category: Social.
Description of Non-Combat Ability: Despite having no innate talent nor a particular interest in singing, Adrian would usually sing whatever song he would happen to be hearing while working on his blueprints or prototypes.
Something that, over time, caused his voice to naturally improve itself.
Name of Non-Combat Ability: Moonshining
Rank of Non-Combat Ability: F
Category: Social.
Description of Non-Combat Ability: A pastime he got from his grandmother, Adrian moonshining skills aren't exactly remarkable. But still, he's pretty damn capable of producing moonshine with a hell of a punch that doesn't outright kills you or leaves you blind.
Probably...
Name of Combat Ability: Marksmanship
Rank of Combat Ability: E
Category: Combatants
Description of Combat Ability: As someone who has had guns being a part of his life ever since he was born, it should be no surprise he has had a fair deal of time to practice his shooting skills.
Currently, he's capable of consistently hitting target up to 10-12 meters away. Roughly the lenght of a telephone pole.
Name of Combat Ability: Strenght
Rank of Combat Ability: F
Category: Obstacle
Description of Combat Ability: After some rough patches with a couple local thugs, Adrian's dad started to train him in the arts of self-defense so he could be capable of defending himself.
Even if none of the knowledge stuck with him, at least the strenght (and body) he got from such a regime did. Thanks to it, Adrian is capable of lifting between 95-105 kilograms tops.
Primary Drive: For Adrian, there is no bigger drive than having his name written into the history books alongside the greatest gun designers the planet has ever seen.
Ever since his passion for gun designing bloosomed out, Adrian has pretty much dedicated his life to the discipline. In the hopes that, one day, he will be turned into a legendary designer whose guns changed the playing field.
Fears: If there is something that scares Adrian to the bone and keeps him up at night, it's his fear of dying in anonymity. Of leaving this world behind without leaving his mark, with his name forgotten.
On a less dramatic note, Adrian is also scared of pools, and, after an incident he will take to the grave, he's deeply afraid of mirrors.
Style of Self-Expression: If you look for Adrian, 9 out of 10 times you would find him either with his eyes glued to his blueprints or a book, or him completely focused on assembling his latest prototype. With this being a routine he has upheld by years, Adrian is not exactly what you would call a social person.
It's not like he's shy. It's just that whatever interaction he had tends to be brief before he manages to excuse himself to return to his latest project.
But if you ever manage to get into a gun conversation with him...
May God Himself help you...
Most Important Thing: If there is one thing Adrian is willing to defend to the death, it would be the uncountable blueprints he has created over the years. But even then, he would be more than willing to just burn them all and remake them again rather than let someone else take them.
They are his creations. They are to create his legacy. No one has any right to use them for their own gains.
Suggestion (Delete when finished with application): Don't focus on actions. Focus on relationships and emotional bonds between your character and others. If you are a character with starter level experience, you cannot have killed armies or won major battles -- your character is frankly entirely too weak to do that. If you write a bunch of heroic actions in the backstory, it becomes absolutely silly that someone can waste entire bandit tribes in the backstory and fails to do things much less than that when they come into actual play due to the stats not matching what they supposedly accomplished.
