Sienna gave an affirmative and how far back she was staying while she continued to trail behind the suspect. A sinking feeling overcame her while she worried about whether or not she had the right guy. She definitely heard a gunshot and this guy was moving faster than any auraless petty thief would be. But was she sure enough to ram a car into him? That left her uneasy. Even if he had aura and could survive one hit, she doubted Alina would give him a chance to explain things if she was wrong. Unfortunately, if this was the right guy, engaging him herself would be suicide so it left her in a bit of an awkward situation. Alina was jumping to lethal force a bit too fast here.
Fortunately, some other idiot was willing to engage him alone and prove his identify for her. She raised her eyebrows as Bianca effectively landsurfed towards him, and she shook her head as though that would somehow convince the trainee to back off. There was no one else in their immediate vicinity that she could see so this was just reckless. Sure enough, Bianca got blasted in the face with a bunch of ice Dust. A lot of ice Dust. A completely excessive amount of ice Dust. That he could blow that much Dust dealing with one person made her a lot more confident in her deduction and less worried about luring him to Alina. She was still a little worried, but she always felt that way in situations like this.
"He's got a lot of Dust on him. A huge bag of it. Careful!"
Considering that this was the Dust Ward Killer, that was almost stupidly obvious to say, but she still felt the need to confirm it because there was a lot of Dust and then there was a lot of Dust. She felt a pang of sympathy for the trainee freezing in all that ice, but she couldn't afford to stop tailing the killer. Gritting her teeth, she jumped over the lizard ice sculpture and waved her hand behind her.
"Sorry! I'll come back later!"
She figured that Alina getting her hands on him would be the end of this. They coordinated well and he seemed more concerned with her location than what was up ahead of him. Once she heard the sound of skidding tires and smelt burnt rubber everything seemed to be going as planned. Except he didn't fall down, thus making a liar of her. She couldn't go back for Bianca like this, not when someone that could cleave a car apart by getting hit by it was walking around. The sheer magnitude of the explosions and other loud sounds made her stop to cover her ears just to avoid being completely dazed. Even with that her ears still hurt, and because of that she gave the killer precious seconds to start running away.
When she looked up again, she had to rub her eyes and make sure she wasn't seeing spots from a sound somehow. Granted, these were huge black blobs and not spots, but she still couldn't believe what she was seeing. Were Grimm...flowing out of him? How was that possible? The killer seemed far too aware and like he was planning something for him to be an animated corpse. Right? She didn't know everything these types of Grimm could do but...
Chasing him was going to be hard like this because the Grimm were between her and the killer. At first, she tried, ignoring the chaos around her and leaving it to Alina, but she was intercepted by a building falling over. Even then, she tried to leap over it, but was greeted by the killer throwing a dumpster at her face. The impact knocked her back to the ground, letting the killer get even more distance while she regained her senses and got back up. He was heading up a particularly steep hill in this area and knocking everything over he could see, and the Grimm were starting to possess structures and cause even more chaos. She wasn't going to be able to catch up to him like this, but she couldn't just let him get away. Rubbing her head, she left another message on the radio for her team.
"Killer's heading up 25th. Try to keep track of him, but don't engage. He is strong enough to take a fucking exploding car to the face."
Hopefully either Lunar or Russet were close enough to at least watch where he was going. They could coordinate from there. For now, she figured she should deal with this mess if she couldn't catch up to him easily. Sienna was focused enough on the killer before that she didn't see everything that happened, but this was a public street. If everything was collapsing like this, then she figured her first priority should be making sure no one got crushed, and getting people buried under rubble out so they could get proper medical help. She went over to the fallen building, putting her hands on as much rubble as she could. The rubble turned a burnt orange and started phasing through other bits of rubble, people, and then into the street. That should be more than enough to let everyone in the area escape.
After that, she intended to help any civilians she saw escape the area so Alina could work without fear of hurting any of them, but she was surprised at what she saw. Rushing to Chloro's side, she bent down and offered the woman a hand, or a shoulder if she needed it.
"Can you stand?"
