Even though the fight was over, there was a lot of commotion behind her. She raised her eyebrows and looked over her shoulder. They were talking about the same Lunar she knew right? The one that showed up in the middle of winter with a bare midriff and then talked about making Dust air so Dust would work in space? Even though Lunar did say she was taught to kill it felt surreal to hear all this. If Lunar hadn't casually cut off a guy's head, even if that guy was a serial killer, she wouldn't have believed it. As it was, she wasn't sure if she should intervene at all because she didn't trust this at all, but Alina's flippant response made her hesitate. Alina wasn't wrong per say, she just didn't trust law enforcement to be even the slightest bit reasonable. Or ethical.
She sat there with her brows furrowed holding up Carmim long enough that she didn't even have to make a decision. Lunar made it for her by dropping some steam Dust and running off, which only made her more bewildered. Then there was a wall between her and all this nonsense -- because of course there was, Haven students really liked their random walls -- and then there was shouting and--
What the hell was even happening?
Sienna blinked with an arm raised like she planned to tell Lunar to wait but didn't get around to it. Alina's words and Carmim stirring was enough to snap her back to reality and to get her jaw to stop hanging open. Carmim was...maybe not fine, but probably as good as she was going to be for the time being. She doubted there was much more she could do to help the trainee at least. She just gave Carmim a small smile and wave as the trainee ran off to go fight the rest of the Grimm unleased in the city before starting to stand up.
"Yeah l--"
Before she could finish, the doctor asked her to stay behind and watch over the couple of injured people here. Rubbing the back of her head and looking between him and Alina, she squatted back down and decided to comply with the request. She could do that much, and it made sense to let someone with the medical knowledge he appeared to have check the people injured in the car crash so she wouldn't have to move them. She could afford to wait until an ambulance or something showed up.
"Yeah, go ahead I'll keep an eye on them." Then she waved at Alina and shouted in her direction. "Go ahead, I'll catch up."
Nina stopped by and her words managed to get a light chuckle out of her. She felt a little bad because she must have smelled terrible right now, but Nina didn't seem too bothered by it. The embarrassing fight was worse apparently. Sienna just shrugged it off.
"Just make sure you write a really good report on those...parasite...slug things. Oh, and tell your classmates to stop making random walls. Shit's weird."

The noble warrior stood, and the people looked to her.
For she was a beacon - hope given form, yet still only human. Within that truth there was great promise. If one could stand against the night, then so too could anyone - everyone.
In her hand the warrior held a Rose. And her aura burned bright.
❝
Shaking her head from side to side in an effort to clear the disorientation currently clouding her mind, Erytheia blinked away the spots in her vision and tried to straighten up. Things felt very wrong for a moment, and it took a good few seconds to realize that the car door wasn't moving not because it was locked, but because there was an obstruction in the way. Namely, the ground of the building that the vehicle had crashed through after the Geist had used it as an impromptu projectile against the other trainees. That explained why regardless of how hard she pushed, it wasn't budging a single inch.
Well, there were other ways to exit the vehicle. At the very least, she remembered that the other car door had been ripped off, before she had even started driving, and the Geist had put a stake through the windscreen. Reaching over to unlatch her seatbelt, the Hellebore heiress caught herself against the roof of the vehicle with her hands as gravity took hold - it was still a rather ungraceful slide to the ground, which was the car door on the driver's side for her at this point, but at least this way she avoided taking any further damage to her Aura, which was probably the reason why she was still alive. Batting away the deflated airbag from her torso, she glanced around, taking stock of her surroundings. The door on the other end had been torn off, that was true, but in its place was a section of brick wall debris, presumably from the very same wall she'd crashed through. The windscreen, then.
Pulling herself upright and bracing her back against the seats, the Hellebore started kicking out at the damaged glass, doing her best to widen the hole from the previous damage already done by the Geist when it smashed that ice spike through. It was slow going due to the cramped quarters and poor orientation she was forced to deal with - regardless of how physically strong you were, without the proper leverage, it would be difficult to turn that strength into anything constructive. That being said, the option was taken away from her when a blast of bright white fire washed over the debris filled blockage of the passenger door. Instinctively, Erytheia shied away from the sudden burst of heat and light, pressing herself against the car door below her while trying to push thoughts through her still disoriented mind. Unable to see anything beyond the spiderwebbed cracks in the windshield, her first thought was that the Geist had managed to take hold of some Dust vials, or perhaps a gas tank, and had been drawn to her emotional distress at being trapped. Still on the ground, she renewed her kicking with an effort as melted metal and plastic started to drip down on her, sizzling against her Aura until it flexed a dangerous gold. After another few seconds of it, she finally punched a hole through the glass and was about to force herself through the shattered remnants when the fire suddenly stopped.
Finally able to see the situation outside, the Hellebore heiress relaxed slightly when she saw that no Grimm were in sight, and Bianca was currently approaching, at a sedate enough pace that she took to mean that the area was safe, at least for the moment. With the melted metal still glowing dangerously from the fire Semblance that had been used to free her, Erytheia gladly took Bianca's hand and hoisted herself out of the burnt wreck before the heat could do anything more than char the bottom of her shoes. These weren't the combat flats she wore for most of her time at Haven, but the high heels she only put on while attending to Hellebore business. Expensive, clunky, and not particularly comfortable to walk around in, they were certainly not suited to climbing in any shape or form, but even they were a step up from letting her bare feet touch what had up until a few seconds ago been melting metal. She stumbled a little when she landed on solid ground again - those cursed heels, but she had at least enough experience moving that she could balance herself again. Moving her hands through her hair, she exhaled a little, nodded at Bianca in thanks, and turned to the leader of the Kozaks, wanting to speak with her - but the other had already turned away, so she simply closed the mouth that had been opening to speak and took stock of herself. No major injuries to speak of, but dangerously low Aura levels. The blonde supposed she was lucky that that was all that she suffered after such a disastrous sequence of events, all things considered.
Kishka came up to her to check up on her status, which caused her to smile a little in both reassurance and appreciation at the action.
"I am fine," she responded, aware that she didn't look anywhere near fine. Her suit was likely a lost cause, given that it now had multiple rips and tears from her earlier escapades, and it was still speckled with debris from her rescue attempts while also sporting a few burn holes from where the burning metal had dripped down on her, and her hair was frazzled and positively filled with concrete and mortar dust, and possibly brick fragments as well. But despite all of that, she still had Aura and could still move and fight if necessary, so her duty wasn't done yet.
"We will need every able person to help remove the Grimm infestation from the city. I can still fight."
More commotion to her side caused her to glance up in time for the Kozak leader to incinerate what looked like some sort of small Grimm attempting to enter the mouth of a horned young woman - as well as Bianca, walking back from her talk with the other Faunus. Erytheia nodded along as the lizard girl pointed out said horned girl and frowned a little when Bianca mentioned that the other had been killing when she didn't need to.
"Understood," she replied, dusting herself off again before moving in the direction of the injured. She didn't get too far before a sudden explosion behind her made her whirl around again - only to blink at the sudden wall of earth that had appeared between her and the place she'd been but moments earlier. The wall collapsed almost immediately, but the steam lingered for a while more before it dissipated enough to show where Bianca and the horned girl had been. For one horrible moment Erytheia thought that the girl had taken them both in some sort of suicidal explosion - it wasn't something that she was willing to put past her, given the recent obsession that all of their foes had with explosives - but the moment passed, and she heaved a sign of relief when she saw the gaping manhole in the middle of the street, the cover discarded to the side. As much as she wanted to follow up with Bianca, she held her impulse in check. With no weapons and no Aura to speak of, she wasn't going to be much more then a hindrance no matter which way anyone looked at it. Instead, Erytheia forced herself to continue. There were still injured civilians to tend to, and Grimm to clear from the city.
She could feel guilty about not backing her friend up later.

Total Outcome Points to date: 1037, A Rank Outcome
The revelations of January 27AV were incomplete, as the event and the Dust Ward Killer was over and done with before any real answers were given. How and why was there a human being attached to Grimm, with the Grimm seemingly using that human being as a host? Such a thing had been seen before, of course, with Grimm that became mythical like the Chill… but the Chill can only take control of its host for a short time, nothing approaching the extended time that one Qiu’li was seemingly controlled.
Gunfire and fighting in the streets of the Wind and Cloud District caused roads to be closed down and multiple casualties due to stray Grimm slipping through the cracks. The Ground District was battered, but suffered surprisingly few fatalities due to the Kozaks and the unexpected help of the Artisan Guilds who swept the area and eliminated all remaining Grimm after the Wind District was secured.
What was perhaps even more unsettling, however, was the fact that the Grimm had help. Raul Adalwulf went missing and was presumed dead after an encounter with Haven Academy student Carmim Clover, and was the news story of the day. A faunus who got out of jail, where he was awaiting trial due to his bond being paid by one Arrats Calanthe who had apparently liquidated his entire net worth into paying that bail. Arrats was the other attack that day, taking hostages at the birthday party of Boris Burzanov, but was defeated by Nikolas and Kishka Burzanov and Boris even survived with only moderate injuries that included gunshot wounds to the knees.
Despite the lack of a large body count, this event deeply unsettled the people of Mistral and struck fear in the hearts of the aristocracy for the first time in a long while. Even when there were bandits at the gates, those gates were all but impenetrable and lives in the Cloud District were largely unaffected. This fear caused the Council to take decisive action, declaring martial law in the capital for sixty days and closing their borders entirely. No one from outside the city can enter, and nobody from inside the city can leave.
The communication going out was that the Mistral Police Department needed time to catch those who helped this trio of villains, and to bring them to justice so nothing like this happened again. Much of the news coverage focused on Raul, with Arrats being secondary… and Qiu’li was almost an afterthought. Nobody knew anything about how or why he was able to do the things that he did, so the focus was on avoiding people asking too many questions about that. With Raul the anti-faunus sentiment could be stoked easily, and with Arrats the public had a pathetic former villain to watch completely devolve in front of cameras when the consequences of his actions were made real.
Security in the Cloud and Wind District made a huge step up in the days and weeks following the event, as well, as suddenly physical security was at the forefront of everyone’s mind. If Grimm could hide in people, after all, how many more would try and come in and be more successful?
