After coming back from a job, I was welcomed by a week of tests and exams back in Haven. So I basically spent the whole week locked up in my room, catching up to what I had missed during my week off in the wilderness.
But in the end, I managed to pull through. Although I felt like I had lost a couple years off my lifespan in doing so... Now. Surviving all of that called for one thing, and one thing only...
It was party time, baby. It had been ages since I last went to a club. Just by myself, looking to get drunk or looking to get laid. Whichever came first. So I stopped by Celeste’s shop to get something to wear.
I grabbed a black, backless mini dress. I wasn’t trying to go as the queen of Mistral or something, so I didn’t mind showing some skin. And I actually decided to wear some flats for a change, didn’t want to go stepping on spilled booze and some other things while I was supposed to be having a good time.
So onwards I went, club hunting around the streets of Mistral. I entered a couple ones, but they looked almost empty, so I kept looking till I found one that seemed pretty packed and fun... And it was good enough, to be honest. Some people gave me weird looks for my tail, but most of them didn’t seem to mind.
So there I was, just another face in the crowd. Not a huntress nor a student, just a girl in a black dress, looking to have some fun under the dim lights. And that was refreshing as fuck.
It would have been a pretty enjoyable evening. If not for one particular detail that kept and kept bugging me...
And it was that this bitch just kept hitting me!
I had to duck under a dark, feathery wing as it made another swing over my head. I wasn’t as aware of it the first two times, so I got hit in the nape twice already and spilled my drink. I let it go at the time because drunks are drunks. I assumed it was just an idiot who would soon collapse out of drunkenness and stop bothering people.
But that simply didn’t happen. Turning around, I saw the culprit was a massive woman, like, almost Berwyn levels of tall. And she had two gigantic crow wings she seemed intent on making everyone in the club acquainted with.
By this point, some people found it endearing, but most decided to get out of the way to avoid eating a fistful of feathers to the face. Some dudes looked pretty annoyed, but it took one good look at the sheer size and mass of the woman to discourage them from saying anything.
I mean, it was a club. It was a given that a bit of body contact would occur from time to time. And that someone would make a fool of themselves sooner or later. But there was a limit to everything.
Needless to say, I was not one to be intimidated so easily. So I stubbornly refused to move from my spot. The woman seemed pretty distracted, focused only on what was in front of her and disregarding her sides entirely as she swaggered around the club.
It was actually quite impressive to see how she moved those damn wings around so freely as she danced. But she really needed to learn to mind the other people in the club. I saw the wings coming my way again, but this time I was prepared.
I lifted my tail and batted her wing out of the way when it came close to me again, quite forcefully. I wasn’t trying to hurt her, but those things looked heavy, so I gave them a good enough wack to keep them out of my way. And would keep doing so if she didn’t cease her attitude.
If she turned to look at me, she would see me shooting her a questioning look. Raising an eyebrow in disbelief before taking a sip out of a new drink I had to buy a few moments prior because of her.
I really hoped she got the message. Looking at her more carefully, she was not just big, but she was buffed. It was clear she was battle-trained just by looking at her body and how secure she felt about herself. So I began wondering if antagonizing her had been a good idea after all. And if I wasn’t just poking the hornet’s nest.

Relaxation was one of Kelsie's incredible desires. The ability to take time to unwind and love oneself, with the ability to take care of ones needs. The freedom to do whatever ones desires were, be it illegal or legal. Tonight was more tame and legal than her recent endevours. A night out on the town. After the reasonable work she had been performing for the Revolutionary League, she deserved this right? Outside of Alina though, no one else would really tell her otherwise. Be it intimidation or through brawls theyve had, most have allowed her to do whatever she wanted, within certain limits of course. She couldn't just go picking fights willynilly and getting herself arrested. Tonight was drinks, maybe a bit of drugs and the occasional hook up if they lasted long enough, but that was besides the point.
People were just weakwilled anyway.
So, this club she found was supposed to be "the shit" according to her friends she knew before the League. Trusting their judgement, she took a stroll for this club. The name missed her eyes but she knew it was the right one from the fact the massive line outside. She stuck out like a sore thumb, but she didn't care. People kept their distance and when she reached the front, she towered over the bouncers. With a wink and a blown kiss, she was inside and it was crazy. The music was blasted and the floor was filled. For once in her egotistical life, she was concerned how she'd get around so many people with her colossal wings. Then she remembered, she was Kelsie mother-fucking Valkyrie, and would do whatever she set her mind to.
A wide smile, and a drink in hand, it wasn't long till she hit the dance floor and admittedly, she hit it hard. Being one of the largest girls in the room, there was always that natural "allure" and attention she drew, so she felt it only necessary to blast the floor with some slick moves. Incorporating her wings and with the chosen spot, she managed to get some air dancing working as well, at the behest of those caught under her. Admittedly it was a bit much and she landed for the remainder of her night.
What broke her groove and caught her attention, was when she was preparing for one of her more complex moved, something swatted at her wings, causing her to drift off and slow down slightly. Turning to the direction of the girl who had swatted the wings, was a vastly smaller tanned girl with a tail. Her eyebrow raised in curiousity as she kept her eyes trained on her. She looked to be fairly strong too, could be a potential "hostile" or a friend. Nothing would stop her from finding out.
As she pretended to dance slightly closer, she would use one of her wings to swat at the girls rear before leaning over and whisper-shouting over the music. "What's a girl gotta do to get some more attention ay?" Word Count: 507/507

The big woman seemed to calm down a bit after I silently called her out. I didn’t like having to do it, but she was simply being very annoying. I mean, yes, her dancing was good, and all of that, and she was pretty good looking... But it was hard to focus on that when she was acting like that.
I thought everything was said and done, and I returned to eyeing a cutey currently sitting alone at a corner of the club. I was about to go and introduce myself when I felt something coming. More specifically, something big and heavy slapping my ass all of a sudden.
I had my aura up. Always have it on nowadays. But that didn’t save me from taking a step forward in surprise and having to say goodbye to yet another cup of booze that ended one half on the floor and half coating my hand.
-My drink...- I expressed pathetically. So long, brave one. You did your job well for as long as you lived.
That warning shot left me more prepared for the sudden intrusion of a certain crow-lady leaning in to whisper something over my shoulder. And I wonder if that girl knew that “hitting on people” was not a literal expression.
Alright, so that was actually happening. It wouldn’t be the first time, of that I was sure. But probably the first one in quite some time, so I took a brief trip through memory lane to the last time it did.
Old Bianca wouldn’t have any problems with it. She would have simply broken a couple fingers and dragged the offender’s ass towards the bar to buy her something ten times as expensive as compensation. She was a practical and straightforward gal like that.
But as much as the temptation was there, I didn’t believe I really wanted to do that. So taking a deep breath, I decided to try and solve things like civilized people. Doubted it would work, but hey, here’s to hoping.
I merely turned around, took a good look at her, and gently placed my open palm over her midriff. (Would have gone for the shoulder, but she was so damn tall that it would be... A tall order) As I plainly stared at her face with a mask of neutrality.
-Don’t do that- I told her in a cold tone. Very slowly and deliberately pushing with my hand until she was a good foot away from her initial position. All the while, my expression not changing much.
-Hitting me in the back of the head and making me spill my drink twice is indeed a way of getting my attention-
I replied, shaking my empty plastic cup a bit before throwing it back behind me. Licking my fingers to clean out the sticky liquid. I quickly turned my attention back to the woman.
-So now that you got it, what are you gonna do with it?- I asked her above the babble around us. One hand on my hip and the other hanging at my side, waiting to see what her next move was. If this was just an elaborate scheme to try and impress me, it was failing.
I didn’t mind a little roughhousing at all, but I expected a little bit of decency in doing so when it was someone I didn’t know of anything. If this crow woman believed she could do whatever the fuck she wanted just because the girl was tall and strong, she had another thing coming.
An apology would be very well received, for example. But a part of me doubted that would be the case. So I was actually kind of curious about how things would develop.

Her attempt to gather attention from the lizard girl seemed to work, but in the way she wasn't expecting. The girl seemed pretty pissed off, which made her frown. Kelsie had many drinks on her body, all a brand that combined tequila and beer together. The girls expression seemed to solidify the entire attitude she had to Kel's bullshit as it were, especially she she essentially shoved the crow back a solid foot. The strength displayed from the girl made her raise an eyebrow, as her smirk only grew before she would bow slightly, as a guy would normally, with her wing to accompany it. Leaning in once more so she can get her words heard over the loud music, she would call over. "Apologies for the drink, have one on me lass." Her hand would extent one of her unopened bottles as she finished the second, taking out a third and using her teeth to crack it open, spitting the cap to the ground.
"As for the attention, depends what you're cool with, you're good lookin', looks like a more exciting time could be used and ya look pretty strong too." Her smirk would turn to a wide smile, as she held out her arms in a more welcoming manner. "Sorry for 'itting your head too, I was aiming lower, but the wings can miss it's mark." Accompanied with a wink. Admittedly, Kelsie was unsure what to think of this small package of strength and looks. Would she become surprised by something else she had hidden under this cover? Maybe she wasn't having any of her shit today and would spark a fight. To be fair, Kelsie would never turn down a fight, especially when some others near her were beginning to piss her off as she could hear their witty retorts to her size, calling her an orge or something equally shitty. "Ah, one moment lass."
Turning her attention to the name callers, she would casually march over, and all bar one would freeze in fear, the one that didn't was too drunk to realise. "So! What was this about me being an orge? Or something equally as shite? Go on, speak up!" Tragically, the drunk one fired back, which was a mistake. "Ha! Yeah! How on earth do you exist? You're a monster size girl and no one would ever accept ya! So beat it faunus scum!" Kelsie would feign hurt and begin forcably tearing up. "God! How could you say something like that!? That's just so mean!" As she would fake her sadness, she was reaching forward slowly before gripping his wrist, as her hurt expression switch to anger with a dash of a wild eyed smirk. "Good thing I know how to fix pricks like ya." Her tone had switch from "cutsey" and "innocent", as she then twisted and yanked, hearing a faint crack and pop as she dislocated the mans arm, and then letting go. His cry and scream of pain was drowned out by the music as she shoved him back and glared at the others. "Make me strike you, and you'll experience incredible levels of agony and pain, ya hear? Now scram before I change me mind!" She watched one turn and push away through the crowd, and would turn as she heard the others move away, returning to the lizard faunus, cracking the hand she used and adjusting her fringe with a smile.
"Sorry bout that lass! Can't have scumbags badmouth the superior race can we eh?" Words: 586/1097

Okay. Whatever the situation was going to be, it seemed like it had been defused considerably. I saw the winged lady bow, and I have to admit that my posture relaxed immediately. Especially when she offered one of her own drinks along with an apology.
-You really know how to make a proper apology, it seems- I commented, taking the bottle from her hands and giving it a tentative sip. Decent enough, a strong drink, no pussyfooting around. I liked it.
And she was a pretty direct one as well.
-Likewise...- I returned tentatively when she unabashedly started praising me. As much as I was wary of this girl, that was a weak spot of mine... Still. Good looking? That was pretty much a normal thing to say when hitting on someone. Strong...? Not so much, especially from girls as forthcoming as this one.
And that smile of hers... I knew of troublesome smiles, and she had one of those in steroids. A mere moment later, it seemed like my assumptions were justified.
I raised an eyebrow as the woman excused herself for a second and went away to swiftly deal with an asshole before putting up a little show of being hurt.
I hummed in contemplation as I watched the guy retreat back with his friends. Considering how easily she got his arm from out of its socket, it wasn’t hard to realize that the crow woman could have done much worse damage if she really wanted to.
Luckily, the guy seemed to get the message. So I doubted he would come back for more. So now I had the crow-woman all for myself... For better, or worse.
-Huh... That was pretty good, actually. You are a dangerous one, aren’t you?- I commented, leaning back against the bar and sipping on the drink. Shooting her a curious look from behind the bottle. I considered her question for a second, pondering what exactly did she meant by the superior race. If she was only saying it to sound quirky or actually believed that. In the end, I just closed my eyes and shrugged.
-Good riddance to him. I don’t even understand racist people. Human women, faunus women, aren’t both equally as cute? Right? It’s really as simple as that...-
A little reductionist. But, honestly. Do I really need any reason not to be an imbecile that believes herself better due to having or lacking a tail and so? I don’t really think so, so I’m happy with my point of view.
-Besides. What’s with him hating on your height and whatnot? I could never respect a person blind enough not to see the appeal of a big girl!- I said, genuinely scuffing at such an absurd idea. Until the end of my life, I would thank Berwyn for opening my eyes to that.
Also, I lowkey was letting this yet unnamed woman know that I could be into her. In case she wanted to keep pushing on. If I need to say the obvious, she was hot. And the height was totally a part of it.
And... What the hell. It was not going to get any more exciting than this girl right here. Might as well see where does it all takes me. Physical attraction aside, it’s not every day that you meet a person so confident in the face of confrontation. So I legit wanted to know more about who the hell she was.
-Well, you got me a drink. And I have to admit that you clearly are the most interesting person around. So I think you’ll have my attention for a good while-
I said, finally returning a smile as I looked up towards the woman. Realizing I hadn’t introduced myself, I held out a hand for her.
-I’m Bianca. I don’t think I caught your name, are you going to give it to me? Or do you want me to call you something else- With a cheeky wink, I waited for her answer.
Her face was unfamiliar. But if she was a huntress or something like that, I probably was familiar with her name, at least.
After pleasantries were exchanged. I recalled a line Kelsie said before and decided to go back to the topic at hand. Now that some ground rules had been laid down, I could let the other faunus woman start taking control of the interaction.
-You were talking about more exciting times before. Did you have something in mind ...I remember you saying that I looked strong. Is that an important thing?-
I asked, resting my elbow on the bar and looking at her with unveiled interest before I asked her if she wanted another round of drinks.
