TRP is a post-Great War AU RWBY RP set in Mistral City and Haven Academy with no canons, no rank claims, no maidens, and no god interference. We offer a progression system and site-wide events that change the setting based on player actions.

I watched the door open from the edge of my vision, and I lazily turned around to finally see the boy I was waiting for cross the threshold. Smiling a little, I waved in his direction until he managed to catch a glimpse of me among the rest of the patrons.
-Heyyy... Opal, my pal! - I saluted the young man as he entered the small bar we had agreed upon via chatroom message. He was in the city, and so was I for the time being, so we decided to meet up and chat for a while. And I picked a nice little place I was a bit fond of since the ambient was decent, and I had always been treated well there.
Speaking of which, I wasn’t wearing anything fancy. Just a black high-waisted skirt with a white tank top. And a jean jacket to top it off. I didn’t wanna go too revealing nor too formal. Since it was just a night out with Opal, after all. And I wasn’t planning on leaving him hanging in the middle of the night just to go chasing skirts.
So it was like... The opposite of girls night since, of course, Opal was not a girl (or that was he wanted us to believe anyway). More like boys and girls night, but not in that way. Or some similar dialectic nightmare.
Silly lines of thinking aside, I greeted the man. -I'm glad that you could make it. Has been a while since I last saw you around... At least without speeding trains or Jabberwocks around- I joked, recalling the unfortunate circumstances of our latest meetings.
With a chuckle, I ushered to the small table I had reserved for us. The bar wasn’t a particularly big or busy one, more a place with cheap booze where people crashed for a while before going to one of the nearby clubs on the block. Which still was within the plans if Opal felt like it.
Speaking of drinks. I had taken the liberty of asking for a gin and tonic for myself while I waited for Opal. The bar had a bit of everything, and it was pretty affordable, all things considered. So my partner could get himself something as the bull faunus bartender seemed free at the moment.
Oh yeah... That was the other thing. It wasn’t like it had a sign on the door or something on that line, but pretty much everyone around knew this was dubbed as a faunus bar. Except for the occasional human who entered the establishment, then gave exactly one look inside before deciding he had somewhere better to be.
Not to say we would kick him out if he wanted to stay. But that only happened rarely, and even humans who were alright with us sometimes felt a bit intimidated when surrounded exclusively by faunus... I didn’t quite get it, but that was life for you.
So as it would be the case, one or two patrons even shoot curious glances towards Opal for a second when they noticed him. At least before I corrected them with a chastizing look of my own.
Not that it mattered now. Leaning back on my chair, I took a drink as I turned to talk to Opal over the folk-rock set as ambient noise for the night.
-I've been missing you a bit. Visits to the infirmary are way duller now that you aren’t working there anymore. I still have Harigatanai... But she just scolds me and says she’s gotta ask for a raise with all the work I give her. Haha!-
That was always a good laugh... Not so much for Harigatanai, but for me at least. I knew very well that I was taking advantage of the doctor by abusing her semblance to push myself harder than necessary. But that’s what you do when life gives you lemons, as some people say.
-But enough of that. Come have a drink and tell me how's life for everyone’s favorite butcher. Having fun with doctoring?-
I wondered what Opal had been doing lately. If he already had his degree or if he was still doing practices and stuff.
