Fucking late for class. Her own damn class. By five minutes.

The sounds of heels clicking echoed across Haven's hallways as Doctor Haragitanai made her way down her to the laboratory classroom introduce the walking catastrophes to some basic health. Her arms were full of papers and various other tool. Given that she wasn't the most dexterous when it came to finesse, she approached the door and gazed at it. Trying to shimmy her hand from under the pile of papers and attempting to open the door wasn't getting her anywhere. Pushing on the door didn't seem to budge. Hnng! Her patience was already wearing thin from having to deal with a troublesome Professor Jay earlier. Combined with a lack of sleep, she lifted a leg and slammed her foot square into the door, forcing it open with a loud 'bang'. Upon closer inspection, Doctor Haragitanai had just realized that the door was in fact, a 'pull' door. Oops. Well, nothing a little tape couldn't fix anyways. Without so much as a glance at any of the students that were hopefully seated inside, she approached her desk.

The lab itself was set up in a rearranged classroom setting with a large desk at the front end with adjacent to the door, supplemented with a camera to live-stream anything written on the board and demonstrations on the desk for the people who thought they could sit in the back and make the excuse that they couldn't see. The laboratory benches were arranged in rows at each end of the room with an aisle space in the middle for students to walk to their seats and Doctor Haragintai to walk down to make sure nobody was drinking the rubbing alcohol. Each laboratory table could accommodate two people and on each lab desk was a fake arm with a tube attached to it, and various assortments of bandages, gauze, a medkit box which contained additional bandages, scissors, a bottle of antiseptic, and medical thread.

Without so much as a pause, Doctor Haragitanai approached the front and slammed her documents onto the main lab desk before looking up to adjust her hair."Morning. Some of you may have seen me before, though for the fortunate ones that haven't met me yet, my name is Doctor Haragitanai. I am the school nurse, and I also teach science-based courses here. Today we will be going over basic health training with a focus on wound care." She adjusted her lab coat and gave an intimidating stare. "For those of you whose rolling their eyes think that this is a waste of time, feel free to get up and leave. It's not my job to babysit your asses and make you like learning. I am aware that this is an academy for hunting Grimm, however I should tell you now that in my previous line of work, that line of reasoning will send you to an early grave."

While she did say that they were free to leave, it was a bluff, sort of. If it were up to her, she had no problem with students that were not interested to fuck right off. Unfortunately for her the Haven Administration called the faculty in before the rebooted semester had begun with a meeting that emphasized and 'encouraged consistent attendance for essential courses'. In other words, less students meant less funding, and boy were budgets really tight on this end. Any case, should anyone try to call her on her bluff, she could just resort to launching them back into their seats through force. Though she'd prefer not to kill anyone on the first day of classes. "Now, you might be wondering, 'Doctor Haragitanai, why would I need to know how to apply first aid? We have people who have healing Semblances like yours.' Dependence on your Semblance is idiotic at best, and will get other people killed at worst. Building the necessary skills to not only help your teammates, but also injured civilians when the time arises is essential, and for a lot of you, if you can't get that through your thick skulls, I'll be sure to beat it in by the end of today."

Doctor Haragitani cleared her throat as she activated the monitor on the main desk, which was mirrored onto the screens for the students to follow from their lab tables, a diagram of a rotating anatomical body was displayed for the students to see. The diagram zoomed in and displayed skin from a surface level, followed by a transition to display the various skin levels beneath "Pop quiz time. Discuss with your lab partner what the answer might be, or if you're feelin' lucky, go ahead and choose the right answer."

On the monitor, a question popped up followed by a multiple choice response that required the student to answer through their Scrolls:
What is the outermost layer of the the skin called?

A. Epidermis

B. Aura
