As the morning sunlight was peeking over the two mountain peaks that enclosed the city of Mistral, the students that Doctor Haragitanai was in charge of were busy at work making preparations hours prior. Under the instruction of Doctor Haragitanai, all the students who had signed up for her Internship was put to work immediately with preparing and packing the general supplies intended for their destination: Luoa Village. Supplies included an abundance of medical equipment, first-aid kits, medicine, and medical supplies such as clean sheets, disposable gloves, cotton balls, etc. In addition to medical supplies were relief goods such as emergency rations, large water containers, canned food, blankets, and filters as well as a large amount of what looked like construction supplies and equipment.

While it may seem like it was a lot of supplies, it was surprisingly smaller than one would expect. Being able to provide relief aid to remote villages seemed to be pretty low on the priority list of many cities when it comes to reconstructing and managing their own. It's a somewhat disappointing reality, but being able to provide some aid was better than none at all. Mistral had their own problems to deal with at the moment, therefore the academy had to make do with the requisite supplies that were provided for this particular instance.

The students were tasked with moving all of the supplies, along with whatever they were bringing with them for this week-long trip, onto the aircraft that they were scheduled to leave on by morning. While Doctor Haragitanai could care less about what they thought would be deemed important to them for this trip, anyone that dared try to skimp out on helping with packing the supplies would be promptly caught and given a healthy dose of Doctor Haragitanai's five finger prescription. These few hours would be known as the 'Hell hours' due to Doctor Haragitanai's constant barking of orders, lack of breaks, and reprimanding anyone who was caught idling about. They were on a tight schedule and dicking around would put them behind it, and while Doctor Haragitanai was more loosey-goosey with times on a normal day, having the Administration breathe down her back on maintaining an accurate schedule did not bode well for neither the schedule, nor her mood. Plus she was out of cigarettes. Damn, if only a certain white-haired bastard was here...

The vehicle that they would be using to head to Luoa village was an Air Bus, or rather more accurately it was a special variant of the Airbus, as indicated by the alternative exterior paint job with a large red cross emblazed across it. Though it appears to be smaller in size than the standard Airships that's often seen flying around, the Air Bus is still similar in appearance. It has three decks and four fin wings that are part of the propulsion system, as well as a pair of large fan-in-fin tail rotors at either side of the rear fuselage. The back of the compartment has a wide door with a ramp, above which a T-tail rudder is situated. The main benefit of using such a vehicle was due to it's large cargo carrying capacity, however the downside is that it trade mobility, meaning that it would be a rather long trip. Thankfully, unlike most airships this variant didn't require an overly complicated docking procedure, which made transporting the supplies in and out of the Air Bus quicker and with less of a hassle. The Doctor liked little hassle.

Once the packing was completed, the ship would take off from the docks and make their way towards Luoa village, one of the few remote villages under jurisdiction. Why anyone would want to live in such a remote place with the constant threat of bandits and Grimm was beyond her understanding, but Doctor Haragitanai wasn't getting paid to give opinions. It was gonna be a several hour long flight, and based on the pilot's estimation, they'd make it by around midday, Doctor Haragitanai decided to use this time to brief the students on what the job will consist of exactly and the general plans for their week-long excursion. If she had to repeat herself at anytime due to someone either intentionally not listening or goofing off by oogling at the view below, she'd have to hold back on trying to punch a hole in the wall and dangle the student by their feet for the remainder of the ride.

"Alright you little shits." Doctor Haragitanai started as she gazed down at a single tablet-sized scroll while pacing on the observation deck where normal passengers are allowed to view the surrounding areas in the sky and below. She wore her standard outfit, starting with her white lab coat, white blouse, black pleated skirt, black tights, and long gloves, however instead of heels, Doctor Haragitanai wore a pair of worn, black combat boots and a leather sling that went over one shoulder and had a faded red cross on the center of the bag. "Our destination is Luoa village, a remote settlement located to the far West of Mistral city. We have been tasked with delivering medical supplies and relief aid to this village due to reports of increased 'hostile presences'. As you can imagine, being far away from the nearest major settlement combined with the general lack of reliable Huntsmen and Huntresses make for a bad combo, especially for the villagers itself." Doctor Haragitanai began flipping through the scroll in her hand, flicking her finger to read down the walls of text.

"Our mission is threefold: Deliver the medical supplies as per requested by the head of Luoa village, and assist the villagers in reinforcing their outer perimeter defenses. Seems simple enough, but I can guarantee you that if it were that easy, we wouldn't be there for an entire week. Spending time with the villagers and interacting with them is a keen part of being a Huntsman and Huntress. You could be the best fighter in the world, but nobody will want to be around you, nor trust you if you're as impersonal and abrasive as the green side of a sponge. Learning how to deal with people is a key skill to learn. In addition, completion of outer perimeter repairs doesn't happen in a day, and there is a possible chance of attack during the repairs, therefore vigilance is keen, and that you are ALL required to notify me upon the first sign of an attack. No exceptions. If I find out you thought you could just charge in willy-nilly and be a hero, I'll fucking put a dent in your skull if you're still alive."

Doctor Haragitanai continued. "If you were paying attention, you might be asking yourselves, 'didn't she say that there was a third objective?' and you would be correct. Aside from the injured villagers, there has been reports of a lot of villagers falling ill, decreasing the number of able-bodied people to repair and guard the village outskirts. The nature of this illness is largely unknown, which is why they contacted yours truly to investigate the cause of the illness. During this time, the two that are remaining in the village will be with me during the disease investigation."

[break]
"Fuck there's a lot of you." Doctor Haragitanai glanced up briefly as she whispered under her breath as she scrolled to the next section. "We will be working in rotations during these next few days. Two of you will remain in the village with me as we help out the villagers with their day-to-day activities while the remaining three will be in charge of helping the villagers with the outer wall repairs and reinforcements. In addition, your job is to patrol the area and keep watch for any suspicious activity. Casual reminder to notify me first at the first sign of an attack before you do anything else and do not engage them unless absolutely necessary. Remember that our job also entails projecting the villagers, and their safety takes priority. I do NOT want to be the one to hear that one of you fuckers thought it was a great idea to chase after a enemy, only to find out that you left the villagers vulnerable for a follow-up attack. They are trusting their lives with us, and betraying that trust is a surefire way of getting you booted out of this Academy. No exceptions."

She said as she looked up and glared at each of the students. If it wasn't obvious before, it was now. Doctor Haragitanai did not fuck around when it came to endangering the lives of innocent people. Messing around or pulling reckless stunts that put the lives of villagers in danger would incur the wrath of not only the villagers, but the Doctor herself. After a few seconds of awkward silence, Doctor Haragitanai cleared her throat and continued reading. "The first team to stay with me will be Mister Devaraja Kaala and Miss Elena Thorne. The remainder of you, which includes Mister Caelum Ashworth, Miss... Agnès, and Miss Ruqa Reyes, will be in charge of patrolling the perimeter and assisting in wall repairs. How you decide to patrol the area is entirely up to you. I can't be in two places at once, therefore the responsibility of keeping each other in check falls on your abilities to cooperate. Remember, there are lives other than yours at stake. Do not take this mission lightly."

They were all connected via a group chat with a call function on their scrolls, however due to restricted equipment budgets, it seemed like the earpiece communicators were currently being used by Professor Shadecloak's own group. There weren't many issues with this minor setback, however if one wanted to communicate to the whole group via voice chat, they would need to take out their scroll and call the group, which required some attention to a degree while also using up a hand in the process. As their destination came into view, they would see a large village whose outer perimeter was in shambles and disrepair. Large holes that were poorly fixed or had large sheet metal barely covering them peppered along the village exterior. Upon touching down on the village outskirts, Doctor Haragitanai thanked the pilots as the ramp opened up for the students and herself to head out.

Outside they were greeted by a couple village members who had sunken looks in their eyes. They looked rather exhausted and somewhat indifferent upon their arrive. As she greeted them and provided identification to prove that they were indeed the real deal, Doctor Haragitanai turned to the students. "I need to speak to the village leaders. In the meantime, unload all of the supplies to where the villagers direct you, and once you've completed your tasks of unloading the supplies, break into your groups and perform your tasks. I will meet up with the village interior group whereas the village exterior group will report to the villagers outside in charge of wall repairs. Don't slack off." She said before walking off deeper into the village, accompanied by two other villagers.
