TRP is a post-Great War AU RWBY RP set in Mistral City and Haven Academy with no canons, no rank claims, no maidens, and no god interference. We offer a progression system and site-wide events that change the setting based on player actions.
Beowolves resemble the traditional, bipedal forms of lycanthropes, more commonly known as werewolves. They stand on their hind legs, albeit with a slouch, and are extremely muscular. They have pitch-black fur and red eyes. On their face is a bone-like mask with red markings, and they have bone spikes protruding from their arms, back, and knees. Their fingers and toes are tipped with long, sharp, white claws.
They appear to have protrusions made of bone along their back and arms. They have long, sharp claws that both present great danger and inspire great fear in their victims. Beowolves can vary greatly in size. The average Beowolf is about the size of a normal human, but as they age, they can grow to be more than twice the height of a human.
The Alpha Beowolf is covered in more bone-like armor and spines and is much rarer than its normal counterparts. It has a more angular skull, larger teeth and sharp triangular ears.
Behavior:
Beowolves attack like a rabid and more mundane wolf might, with clawing and lunges, and no special skills or abilities demonstrated. Their behavior varies depending on age. Younger Beowolves do not act like normal wolves, lacking any sense of self-preservation. They relentlessly attack no matter how hurt they are or how many of their pack members are slain. Older Beowolves gain a sense of self-preservation like normal wolves and eventually become more intelligent than them, observing their allies, retreating when needed and developing strategies for future encounters against Huntsmen and other threats.
A much more dangerous, armored version of the Beowolf called the Alpha is also present in Remnant. This armored version was easily capable of ripping apart state of the art Atlesian androids. Unlike the standard Beowolves which are able to be dispatched in droves by trainee huntsmen and huntresses, the Alpha Beowolf usually requires a licensed huntsman or a heck of a lot of soldiers in order to combat the threat in order to get past the vicious leaping ability and massive durability of the creatures. Alphas are also extremely fast and agile, and any student who encounters one of these creatures will have a very hard time escaping because of that fact.
Alphas come in two flavors, Berserker and Grappler. Berserker Beowolves completely forgo defense and choose instead to rush forward with reckless abandon and cull the weakest member of the living with frightening efficiency. Grappler Beowolves excel at trapping single targets and tearing them apart with a devastating bite that was the doom of many a huntsman in the past who thought a lone Alpha was no issue at all.
Pack Mentality: When 2 or more beowolves attack the same target, they get a +1 to their rolls to hit that target.
Large Beowolf
Strength: F Speed: F Acrobatics: F

Beowolf Alpha
Strength: D Speed: D Acrobatics: D Durability: D Martial Arts: E Agility: F
D-Ranked Leap: The Beowolf Alpha is capable of leaping a distance of approximately fifteen to eighteen meters (the length of a semi-truck) and landing with its great weight onto one target at the end of the leap with a slash of its claws.
Alpha Beowolves will additionally have one of the two following ability sets:
Grappler
Grappler: Alpha Beowolves who choose to forgo their attack and grapple instead receive a +1 bonus to hit their target and prevent them from moving until they find a way out whether by outside intervention, overpowering the beowolf and forcing themselves free, or some other means of preventing the finishing move.
Go for the Throat (C-Rank Finishing Move): This is an attack that only works when a target is grappled from the ability above, and automatically hits the trapped target for C rank damage when the devastating bite to the throat connects. The only way to prevent this damage is to get out of the grapple in the post cycle after being hit by it, or semblance-specific interactions strong enough to prevent C rank attacks.
Berserker
Reckless Swings: Berserker Beowolves have C rank strength, E rank durability, and G rank agility.
Scent of Blood: Berserker Beowolves always prioritize targets without auras unless prevented from getting to their target.
