I know you got hate in you. Most do. Trick is to use it, 'stead of it usin' you.
But you know this. Vengeance is a motivator, not the motive. Don't hunt 'em 'cause you been wronged. Hunt 'em 'cause what they did was wrong. There's a world of difference there, kid. One makes you selfish. The other makes you a hero.
And I see a hero in you.

Argent nodded at the offer, taking the offered bottles and handing one to Kishka before cracking open the seal on his bottle and taking a swig. Much as he wanted to drain the whole thing, a side effect of not being able to sweat as much as others meant that an excess of water would result in more frequent trips to the toilet - and he didn’t want to miss any part of this.
Inconsequential as he was in the actual forging, it was still a sight to see vision become reality, to see the fruits of many nights spent over a drawing board slowly be hammered into shape and given form. The sight of the various electronics that the blades would need to transform into their primary bow form did instill a a small excitement within him, as if they marked the beginning of the end for the blade’s forging process. Only a little of that would show in his eyes and the way he leaned forward in his seat, though - the expression on his face was still steadfastly neutral, and the way he folded his hands in his lap made it seem like he was only mildly invested, but the fact that he had stayed here and not left was a tell in and of itself.
It would be done soon, he hoped.

KISHKA BURZANOVA
Kishka smiled as Argent handed her one of the bottles of water that had been offered to them by Niraya. It really was sweltering hot inside the forge, especially as the sparks flew off of Niraya's work station. She glanced to Argent, with a hint of concern. If she was this hot, how was he holding up? He seemed fine, so far, though, and it was a part of his training, after all, so she trusted his judgment. After all, he had enough intelligence to know when he was at his limit, and enough self-restraint to not endanger himself like some reckless idiot she knew.
She unscrewed the cap on her water thoughtfully, watching the weapon's progress. Slowly, but surely, it was starting to take form and shape. It was starting to look like Ouroboros. Where Argent was playing his excitement close to his chest, Kishka couldn't help but grin like a child on Nondescript Winter Holiday. She wanted it to already be done, finished, ready for action, so he could just take it to the shooting range at the Academy, and try it out. Maybe even a couple of rounds of sparring, even... The cool, refreshing taste of the bottled water hit her tongue and she felt a pleasant sensation as the cold liquid trickled down her throat. She'd been so busy anticipating the new weapon, she hadn't even realized how thirsty the heat had made her- no sooner than she began drinking, did she finish the bottle, thirst quenched, but not entirely satisfied.
"You excited, Argent? I know I am."

Niraya works swiftly. by the time the grip and combination mechanism was in place she tests it a couple of times to ensure a strong fit. once that was finished the blades were ready for finalizing and annealing. She takes out the first blade and walks over to the grinder and sharpens the blades. sparks fly as she sharpens the blades to there true sharpness. after she finishes the first one she holds up a piece of paper and gently rubs it against the blade. the paper is sliced easily.
She quickly finishes the second one and puts them in the annealing oven which would take some time. as she does this she finishes the aesthetics of the handles once she finished the blades were properly forged. She carefully puts them together and tests there mechanisms to ensure everything ran smoothly. She then hands them to Argent for him to test. if adjustments were needed Niraya would quickly fix any issues. Once it was all finished Niraya would smile at him. "To...make up for me being rude earlier....these are free." Niraya looked like she would regret this decision for probably obvious reasons. but she was willing to take this punishment to patch up the rough start to there friendship.

The snake Faunus was quite eager to take the newly forged Ouroboros from his fox counterpart's hands, reaching out as she was coming closer to them - but paused for a long moment when she mentioned that they were free. There was a smile, but there was also clear regret on her face. He took the two swords, felt their comforting weight in his grip, and then looked at her. The snake Faunus wondered what was going through her mind - wondered if she thought that it could make up for what she had done, like a simple exchange of goodwill for money. Tit for tat.
True, it would be useful to have his weapons for free. It would certainly ease up any burden on his financial situation. It would be nice, but it wasn't necessary. And there were many things he'd learned from growing up in a farming community - that you turned the other cheek when you could, and let live when you could. Moreover, he really didn't want to base their relationship around monetary value, especially as Kishka seemed to like the fox girl a lot and that would no doubt sour it in the future.
"That's not necessary," the snake Faunus shook his head, exhaling quietly. His gaze didn't hold any hostility and was less guarded than before now that Platinum had eased up on her own - his face was as neutral as ever, though his eyes seemed to have a quiet resignation instead.
"Just don't point another knife at me again. Not too much to ask, I hope."

KISHKA BURZANOVA
It seemed her question didn't need to be answered with words- Niraya was just finishing with the final touches, and within moments, Argent was cradling his new weapon in his arms. It was a beautiful moment, really- all their hard work, poured into those blueprints, and then Niraya's hard work poured into her forge. It was a weapon made of joint labors from three different people, and something about that made it feel stronger, more complete, than other weapons.
She was a little surprised at Niraya's offer to simply give Ouroboros to Argent, in way of an apology. Honestly, she didn't feel too bad about her doing so, considering she'd not too long ago paid her handsomely for Lucky 13, with a very generous tip, so it balanced out in the end. Though it seemed as though Argent wasn't having any of her charity; her eyes lit up as she listened to him. He wasn't aggressive at all, but definitely assertive, and she clung to his side, her small way of expressing how pleased she was with his newfound confidence. Still, though, she did prefer that he maybe not be so assertive with Niraya; she liked her fox-like friend, after all, and wouldn't want her to be upset. She smiled at her, appreciatively. "This is really good work, Niraya- I knew we could count on you."

Niraya tilts her head confused when Argent refused. She was offering the weapon for free who would turn down such an offer? Then she looked down to the ground. "Just take it. I can cover the cost. the lest I can do to make up for threatening you like that without picking up on all the details first." It was clear Niraya wanted him to just take the weapon and go. She hated the duo for it but from what was said Argent was just there his friend was the one who did the dirty deed. Niraya looks over at Kishka and gives a light smile. "thank you kishka." Niraya walks back to her forge and goes back to work on the pack of throwing weapons.
