Nasrin knew very little about the relationship between Kishka and Aegle. She knew Aegle had done something for the express purpose of pissing Kishka off though, separating her and her boyfriend when the teams were decided. But the outburst from Kishka at the mere idea of Aegle being the one to save her from herself was more than enough to show just how much hatred there was between the two of them. Kishka deserved to be hurt, Nasrin was sure about that much, but a wound that would heal in a few days from aura versus an emotional wound that could last months left Nasrin leaning much more towards the idea of just accepting Aegle’s opinion of things and leaving Kishka be. She’d still break that damned umbrella first, but maybe Heidi could leave the hand alone for now. [Break] [Break]
Still though, she watched the goings on for a little bit longer. She wanted to see what Heidi would do now that this new person had arrived and seemed to be averse to listening to Nasrin’s suggestion of just backing off and leaving Kishka to suffer as she deserved. As Heidi put on the pressure, literally, Nasrin watched Aegle twitch with concern and an inner conflict that was clearly being fought. She wanted to let Kishka hurt, Nasrin could tell that much, but for some reason she was also right on the edge of deciding Kishka of all people deserved to be safe and shit like that. She spoke up, saying it was wrong, and yet continued not to stop it. At least until Heidi spoke again, something that Nasrin truly didn’t want to hear from someone she really did care about, and want to get closer to. [Break]
The weak often didn’t get much of a choice, as far as Nasrin was concerned. There was only so much a person could do with their lives if they were born into a broken home with little money or hope for a future. Or if they were suddenly fired from their job and left on the street. The ‘strong’ were often just the lucky, rather than anyone who actually deserves whatever bullshit they got. That’s why Kishka had to get punished. She was the strong, a cloudhead through and through, and no matter how Heidi viewed it the reality of the situation was that Kishka had more power than both of them combined, money did that. [Break] [Break]
Then she felt the need to call Aegle a cripple. Likely trying to get under her skin but it still rubbed Nasrin the wrong way. She was a cripple too, after all, and the sheer...Dismissiveness with which she said it certainly didn’t lead to any good ideas as to what Heidi thought of people like Nasrin. How long would it take before Nasrin was just another cripple to Heidi, another ‘weak’ person to be stepped all over by the ‘strong’? She had hoped so much that Heidi would agree with most of her views on the world - she was such an amazing woman otherwise, strong, smart, fucking hot… If she had just seen things the way Nasrin did then it would be perfect. It would be something she would be willing to risk the chance of getting hit over. But that was seeming less and less like a good idea the more she saw of the fight fueled Heidi. [Break] [Break]
Aegle spoke up again, setting herself in a fighting stance and staring down Nasrin and Heidi with intent to fight them, a losing fight as she herself admitted. Nasrin found herself between a rock and a hard place. Nothing she did here would make her feel good at the end of the day. Aegle didn’t deserve to get hurt, she didn’t deserve to get called bullshit names by Heidi. The enemy here, all of their enemies, was Kishka. And she needed to be hurt. [Break]
”Difference between you and Kishka is that you were self destructing, you didn’t deserve to get the snot kicked out of you cause you were fucking stubborn. Kishka deserves it. Where I’m from, if she spoke like she did to us tonight there wouldn’t even /be/ a Kishka after the slum folks were done with her. She’s used to her perfect world of rainbows and money and doesn’t have the faintest fucking clue about what life is actually like. In real life you get punished for being a fucking asshole.” She spoke loudly enough for Heidi and Aegle to hear her easily enough, but sighed afterwards and looked over to Heidi and the umbrella in her hands. [Break] [Break]
”Break her fucking umbrella, shatter that shit into as many peices as you can. You said yourself that she'll just heal the fucking hand wound in a day or two. The umbrella will take a couple weeks to fix, and it’s pretty damn obvious she’d rather you break her hand than let Aegle interrupt things. So let's let Aegle interrupt things. She’s not the one we’ve got a problem with, I don’t have any fucking desire to have to fight her too. Emotional damage will be enough, Heidi.” She gave Aegle a little nod and then walked over to Heidi. She was either going to get punched now, showing exactly who Heidi was, or she was going to get through to her would-be girlfriend and have her see some sort of reason. Either way things would hopefully end now. [Break]
”Break the umbrella, Heidi.” She spoke a bit more softly, so that Aegle couldn’t hear unless she had followed Nasrin over. ”Break that shit and then we need to fucking talk back in my dorm, yeah? This cripple has some shit she needs to say to you.”
