TRP is a post-Great War AU RWBY RP set in Mistral City and Haven Academy with no canons, no rank claims, no maidens, and no god interference. We offer a progression system and site-wide events that change the setting based on player actions.
[attr="class","sinnert"]Stepping outside of the dorms building while letting out a refeshed sigh after feeling the cool, night air, Granado looked around the quad with a smile on his face. Adjusting his jacket, Granado took the scroll from his pants to see the hour. It was kinda late to be doing this, but he wasn't tired and it seemed that his sister wasn't either. So why drag it out? He had already busted his surprise so there was no point in dragging meeting her again.
Sitting in the fountain, he looked around the quad once again. This was indeed such a change from the places he used to be. Those back alleys, rooftops... the pits- He shook his head before those memories could overwhelm him. This is a new start. This is a new start. That old Granado is no more.
Trying to divert from those memories, Granado stood up from the fountain and began to pace around it as he thought of more important things, namely his sister, as he waited for her to appear in the quad. He couldn't help but to try to guess how much she must have changed since the last day she saw her. He had seen the video of that Argus Limited thing, but it was way different to see her in a video than in person. For real, how much she must have changed in the past five years? He sure as hell did...
"Fuck man, just let it go" He muttered to himself as he rested his head on his palms. "Just let it go. You're not that man anymore. Not anymore..." Cleaning the sweat from his brow, he hoped for Carmin to appear soon as he kept trying to avoid those damn memories. Those damn nightmares.

HAVE YOU SEEN HER? HAVE YOU HEARD? THE WAY SHE MOVES, THERE ARE NO WORDS
It's good to see you haven't changed a bit, Carmim.
It was him. It had to be him. He said it was him. How could it be him, though? Well, it wasn't that shocking, honestly, actually. But it was incredibly shocking! Incredibly, ridiculously, absurdly, shocking!! He was in Mistral!? At Haven!?!? Of all places! Of all times!! It was insane. It was crazy. It didn't make sense, not a bit of sense at all, but it was so exciting, and confusing, and, and-
She glanced down at her poor, poor, mistreated, badly abused Scroll. She'd dropped it at least four times in the process of finding out Granado was at Haven, and it seemed like the last fall might have finished it off after the first three, all of which left varying cracks and scratches on the screen... Hopefully Holly would be understanding. She'd already had to replace her last one, the last time she accidentally broke it...
But this was different this time! And super important!
She hadn't seen her brother in over two years... Or any of her family. Technically, it had been five years since she'd last seen him... She had to have been what, twelve, then? She hadn't even been given Storyteller, their family's ancestral drum, the last time they'd been in the same room together. And here he was. In Haven. She was fighting the impulse to cry, and it was a definite war of attrition that she couldn't keep up for long. Especially not when she saw him. She knew she was going to cry when she saw him.
The quad. That's where he said he was.
She hadn't even grabbed a jacket, let alone changed out of her pajamas- just rushed right out of her room, started running, and didn't stop until she threw open the front door to her dorm building, and then-
There he was. She'd recognize that red hair and those red eyes anywhere.
She saw them in the mirror every day, after all.
"Granado...?" Here it comes...
As the realization set in that he was really, truly, honest to the stars, there, in person, in the flesh, her eyes widened as far as they could go, before the floodgates opened and huge, happy, tears came pouring down. She didn't give him a chance to run- she charged at him, drum and all, for a full-on tackle of a hug, throwing her whole body weight at it (which wasn't exactly saying much.)
"Granado!! It's really you, you are really here!! What are you doing here!? When did you come to Haven!? Have you been home? Is everybody doing okay? Where have you been, I've missed you so much, I am so happy t'at you are here!" Her questions came as a rapidfire blur of words thrown at him as quickly as she could formulate her thoughts and speak them. She had so many questions... He'd been gone for so long, and there had just been no word! She'd been so scared for her big brother, all alone, out in the city, and then, out in... Well, wherever he'd gone.
She clung to him, arms around his shoulders like a lasso, just hoping he wouldn't go anywhere else again. It felt so good to have him at Haven, with her... She'd made so many new friends, some who she would even consider like an adopted family, but nothing could compare to having her big brother there, with her.
She hugged him tighter, reluctant to ever let go again. He felt like home.
