In truth, he didn't really know what exactly he was doing. When he got to his dorm room, he'd settled down best he could in the space he was given. Most of his stuff was very simple- clothes, his jacket, a couple pairs of shoes... Oh, and of course, a picture of his family, sans his Father. He didn't notice the note until after he unpacked everything, made sure that the walls were steady for his own paranoid mind's sake, and checked the bed for any bed bugs. The note itself seemed to state that he should meet Aegle- whoever that was- in the training cells. It was a bit strange, too.
The note was asking for his presence, for one thing. He didn't think anyone would even notice he was there at first. Then the last part sort of made him uncomfortable. 'Bring your weapon if you want'. What did that mean? He'd only questioned it for a few minutes, before going out to grab his weapon. He didn't have much else to do until classes started, after all. Maybe they just wanted to spar? Find out what the new kid could do? That would make the most sense, but it still made him a little uneasy.
His way to the Training cells was impeded by his ability to find his way around the place. Even if he was trying to hurry- he still hadn't quite memorized the entire place. He kept walking into the wrong areas, and eventually, he just gave up and asked a staff member where the place was. Much to his embarrassment, he turned out to be on the other side of the campus, away from where he was supposed to go. It took him more time to jog his way over to the correct area.
When he finally got there, he was relieved that at least the place didn't seem entirely empty. There seemed to be a training facility for the Red Classroom, so that was the one that he entered.
His parasol was held in one hand, though not open. From a distance, it may have even looked like a normal item if not for the small blades poking out of the bottom. He sighed a little bit, reaching up to tug some more at his hood. The cat ears poking out from the top of his head were 'hidden' in a way, though anyone with a lick of sense would know they weren't just cosmetic. They twitched once in awhile, straining only a little bit to hear past the thin fabric of the little pockets for the ears.
Deciding to walk around a little bit, the young man kept glancing around, over his shoulder at times even. As though anxious about what was going to happen, he just didn't stand still. Eventually, he stopped when he noticed that he was pacing, and likely looked a little weird. Looking side to side, he cleared his throat and schooled a smile on his face.
He needed to make a good first impression to the person that was Aegle, after all. They could be anyone, maybe it was a teacher, or maybe a class representative, or maybe someone even more important? However, it could always be someone normal that just wanted to beat him up. His smile twitched at the thought.

The Sparring Cells were probably Aegle's favorite place in the whole academy. It wasn't simply that they were usually empty at the times of day when she found herself in the training facilities, which gave her no shortage of rooms to pick from when she practiced forms or trained her endurance, but the fact that every cell had its own door and thick walls. And that was really no surprise, when one considered the sheer degree of destruction which most trainees were capable of; Aegle might not be one such trainee, but she knew plenty who were. Erytheia, for example, couldn't safely use her semblance without risking every conductive material in a dozen strides, fellow trainees included. This need to adequately isolate each cell also made them ideal meeting places. With the door closed, it was nearly impossible for someone in the corridor outside to hear what was said in a cell. She had at least two fond memories of locking herself in a cell with another student and just going to the fair on one another. Such an experience was what had galvanized her friendship with Carmim, after all.
So, when Class Red received its first new member since the draft, Aegle had wasted no time setting up a meeting. Finding out where Puron's room was had been the toughest part; With most of the dormitories still empty, tracking down a single trainee was a troublesome endeavor. Fortunately, Doc had been willing to give Aegle a room number, once the crooked girl had explained her need for it. With Qiu'li still fresh in everyone's minds, it hadn't even required that much of an explanation.
Qiu'li and Aegle had once sparred in these cells too; It was still an unfamiliar thought, that he was gone. Determined not to be distracted by thoughts of the past, and that she should make use of her time moving forward rather than fixated upon her life's many missed opportunities, Aegle ambled into the corridor which ran between the rows of sparring cells.
She was small for her age. At less than a stride and a half in height, she was one of the shortest first years in a class that already had a propensity for short women. She was also the lightest trainee in the whole academy, and not by an inconsiderable margin; Aegle was barely half the weight of the next lightest student. She knew this because she'd had to fight most of them by now, and few things were as great a disadvantage in a fight as being the lighter combatant. Aegle was dressed casually that evening. In place of her boy's uniform, she wore a ratty old hoodie, colored an especially eye catching orange, and just as baggy cargo pants with a green on orange tartan design. Her feet were shod in heavy boots, each capped with a thick steel toe. Like the rest of her outfit, the boots were obviously too big for her. In fact, the shapeless capaciousness of each article of clothing gave her a lumpy appearance. Which was, of course, the whole point. Beneath those same clothes, her body was skinny to the point of emaciation, and crooked as a gnarled root. One shoulder was higher than the other, her back was twisted and hunched, and her hips crooked such as to lend her steps a strange, half-limping gait. The baggy clothes went some way to hiding all that, in a way her uniform could not quite match, but they also hid the bulky apparatus she wore upon the entirety of her body. Resembling an Atlesian exosuit, Aegle's Mobility Brace lent her limbs odd angles which were especially noticeable under close fitting clothes. They were less noticeable now, as she ambled down the corridor with her strange, half-lope, half-limp, with the exception of the battery pack on her back, which exaggerated her hunched aspect even through her loose fitting hoodie.
"Oh aye!" She called out, her steps quickening as she spied the one unfamiliar face among the training room regulars. A slight figure, also dressed in a hoodie, but with the hood pulled up. Aegle's own head was bare, her messy thatch of thin brown sticking up at odd angles from her scalp. Her lips curled into what was meant to be a friendly smile, but which served to emphasize the gaunt tightness of her cheeks. she was extremely pale, with feverish green eyes and a smile near as crooked as her body. "Y'the new kid then, are ye?" She stopped with about a stride between them and craned her crooked neck back to look the unfamiliar faunus in the eyes, pleased to find she didn't need to crane back all that far. He wasn't much taller than she was, which might have made him the shortest boy in the whole academy. "M'Aegle, Aegle Verdant," She said, by way of introduction, pronouncing her name as 'Eh-Glee', "S'a good t'finally meet'cha, aye?" She had an extremely thick accent, recognizable to anyone who'd heard it before as that of a Solitucean Highlander. Of course, it sounded nothing like the more wide spread Mantelian or Atlesian variants, and Highlanders weren't well known outside of Solitas, so it was entirely possible that this was the first time Puron had ever heard it. Tilting her head to one side, an affectation bearing some similarity to a puppet's head moving loose upon its neck, Aegle sized the faunus up. Her examinations paused upon his weapon, a parasol, and her lips pursed. Aegle wasn't armed, herself. With the exception of the duffel bag hanging heavy from one shoulder, she didn't seem to have brought anything to the meeting. Hands in her pocket, she returned her gaze to Puron's face, leaning back as she did so to emphasize to him their difference in height, and let her crooked smile spread across her face once more. "Wanna head in?" She asked, pointing to a nearby cell with her chin, "Reckon you 'n I got some'at t'talk 'bout, aye?" She tried a reassuring grin again, with results much the same as the first, "And maybe y'can show me whether y'know how t'use that while we're at it."
