[break] [break] Holly had planned to go climbing with Rose and Niraya for some time now, but there were several delays that caused everything to be postponed. First it was the whole ‘trying to not devolve into being an emotional mess’ that took up a lot of Holly’s mind after Rochdale. Meeting Rose and Niraya together while Holly was still sorting out so many things in her head was something that she couldn’t handle. Niraya was sweet and a friend, but Holly had been quite mean and manipulative to her. Rose, on the other hand, was still someone who Holly feared to some extent, though it had lessened at least a little bit. The one upside of horrible trauma is that someone like Rose seemed a bit less scary in comparison to Holly. At least she will announce when she is going to beat you up in a sparring match. [break] [break] Still, Holly had been feeling relatively fine for days now. Classes had started some time ago, as well, which took her mind of things. She could have had this climbing plan weeks ago if the weather had been somewhat on their side. If it is wasn’t snow, it was very cold rain. If it wasn’t very cold rain, it was the wind. The weather didn’t really agree to climb unless you liked to make yourself suffer. Maybe Rose might like the extra challenge, but Holly wanted this trip to be more social than a gruelling experience that made you test your own limit. [break] [break] And the perfect climbing experience to share with friends? [break] [break] Some old TEMPLE in the Ground District that was going to be demolished because the people who used to hold ceremonies there were part of some form of cult who got arrested! Holly honestly didn’t know squat about organised religion or the precise reason why the once peaceful organisation was being removed. Holly had once seen a flyer of the ‘Mythical Daybreak’ and they didn’t seem too bad. Enlightenment! Community! Nice robes! Awaiting the prophet that heralded in the end times! All right, that last part was a bit creepy. Also, the whole reborn into the afterlife, while everyone else suffered, didn’t sit all that while with Holly, so she didn’t go to any sort of those open meetings they used to keep in the tower. They advertised with free food and drink and everything, but Holly still never went till it was too late. [break] [break] The building wasn’t demolished yet as there was no plan yet to place anything else in its place, so it just stood there. The multiple levels and balconies made it a perfect object to climb and get an awesome view of the Ground District. While the upper levels of the city could do the same…that would honestly be cheating. Holly had worn an appropriate OUTFIT for climbing, or at least something that was something else than her usual dress. Wearing different sets of clothing was one of the things that Holly had tried to adopt in the past. As ‘shopping’ was recommended to her by G1RLZ MAGAZINE TODAY as one of the top 5 answers to dealing with heartbreak of any kind, Holly resumed the practice. The different clothing felt somewhat nice on her body. The K on her vest was a clear sign to everyone that Holly was ‘K.’ herself. A girl trying to deal with stuff and trying to move past everything that has happened. [break] [break] The girl was loitering a bit in front of the closed and boarded-up temple, looking at her scroll from time to time to see if she hadn’t mistyped the time of the meeting in the message to Rose and Niraya. The message said 11:30. It was now 11:31. They hadn’t shown up yet! Hopefully, they hadn’t been delayed too much. Or were death… [break] [break]

Holly had finally scheduled a day to go climbing. Niraya was happy as she could spend time with her friend but the uneasiness of Holly hiding behind a false mask returned. Doc had told Niraya to be less trusting of her friends and all that did was drive her into paranoia. every time she thought about holly she envisions her with one of those smiling masks on. the false face hiding the demon behind the mask. This thought wouldn't leave Niraya's mind even when she saw Holly returning to her old self.

Niraya spent the night before trying to get some sleep but failed. the fear of holly being the hateful demon Niraya feared she was has prevented her from getting any decent sleep. when she finally woke up it was nearly 11:10 in a panic she quickly took a shower and put on her best outfit for some freerunning. Niraya got her stuff together and leaves the room. Jixie followed Niraya as she was curious as to why Niraya was in a hurry.

Niraya pulled out her scroll to figure out the location. It was some abandoned building. what an odd choice. mountains all around and an abandoned building was the choice? Niraya dashed out of Haven and into the Ground District. When Niraya finally found the building she was running late. Her scroll said it was 11:36 so she ran as quickly as she could. She weaved through so many side streets trying to find where to go. Jixie was right behind Niraya following as fast as she could.

Upon arriving she stops to catch her breath for a moment with a technique Grimm Eclipse taught her. When her breathing finally returned to normal she looks at holly with a smile but her tail was wrapped around her waist and her ears laid flat on her head showing she was uneasy about this. Jixie stops and hovers around both of them its digital face moving between both of them. the display showed a cat emoji face. from the way Jixie was hovering around it was like she wanted to play.

Being back at the Academy felt surreal at times. Once upon a time, Rosalia had been a feared bandit lord that took what she pleased and cared little for the consequences. To her it was an unfulfilling lifestyle because there was no one to oppose her or stand up to her, but that all changed when she had entered the Mistral Tournament and won. Becoming a Huntress had been her new goal and, upon joining Haven Academy, the blonde believed that she could continue with her devil may care attitude.

But that was not the case.

She quickly learned during the trials that teamwork was key...and that she even almost got her friend Colt killed. Yet she still didn't learn to control herself when she faced off against Holly Hock in a duel. Rose didn't just beat the girl...oh no she had terrified her and scared her. At the time Rose felt nothing from the fight since it proved to be no challenge for her, but then in retrospect she had realized something. That strength didn't always come from combat prowess or how tough you were.

The Vacuo native had meant to apologize to Holly in some way, but she had been pulled away back to her home and...when she returned, Rochdale had happened. She wasn't there to help and it frustrated her to no end! So many students were going through mental therapy and one of them was Holly...a girl who had been behaving strangely. Unlike herself to the point that even someone as cold and violent as Rose took notice. So it was a bit of a surprise when she was invited to go climbing.

She had assumed rock climbing or something of the sort but...judging from the location given on her scroll, it was the ground district. Were they meant to climb a building? Rose was skilled in free running from her years of thievery, so this was no problem! And apparently Niraya from their class would be joining them, which meant more of a bonding experience. It made Rose yearn to hang out with Kishka again as well and made a mental note to drop by the girl's dorm and say hi.

The blonde threw on a gray T-shirt that was ripped just above her mid section so that the rest of her upper body was exposed and slipped into a pair of tight fitting shorts to prevent any snagging. Instead of her usual boots she chose some worn down sneakers with rubber grips along the sides for ease when climbing. It was a bit late, but she never was on time.

Rose dashed out the door at a carefree jog at first through the Academy halls, but as she burst into the open air of the outside world she kicked into high gear. Scarlet lightning flashed around her, licking at her bare skin, and her semblance sent her into a blur of speed. A wide grin stretched across Rose's face at the freedom! Gasps and slight screams of shock came from onlookers that barely moved out of her way as the girl bobbed and weaved through the streets straight toward the meeting place where the other two were already waiting for her.

She jumped into the air, landed heavily, and used the momentum to throw her arms forward. All of the force pushed her body up and Rose spun through the air to land expertly in front of both girls with a grin on her face.

"Well well now! A broken down temple, Holly? Talk about one hell of a place to start a climb! Alright, lemme get a stretch in and we'll get started. Hope yer up for this Niraya! I don't plan to slow down, after all!"

This wasn't only an exercise, though. Rose was concerned for the well being of her classmates and she hoped that maybe they could talk...though it would prove slightly difficult as they focused on the temple climb.

[break] [break] “You are honestly quite amazing, you little Dandy.” [break] [break] Holly had been bored on her scroll for a minute or so, but because she didn’t want to waste her battery before her friends showed up, she had tucked the device away again and took a small look around. She found a very early bloomer near the wall of the temple. A dandelion that was already nice and yellow despite the horrible winter the city had had. Maybe the temple gave of some positive energy? Holly had to encourage the little plant to do even better! [break] [break] Holly was huddled next to the flower as Niraya approached. Noticing the arrival of the Faunus, Holly stood up again to go over towards her friend. Holly looked…she looked rather nice actually. Maybe it was the different clothing, but she looked better than she did at the previous meeting of the two girls met. Her voice sounded rather chipper too, as Holly addressed Jixie before Niraya. “Well, if it isn’t my favourite robo-pall, floating about! Might I say that your metal is looking rather dapper today? Is that a new face, or are you just that happy to see me?”” [break] [break] The pinkette would softly boop the little flying machine on the head in a playful manner. It was a device that Holly honestly found rather amazing. She had once asked Niraya if she had trained a rat or a squirrel to control it in one way, because she honestly could not believe that it could fly and do things on its own. It was like…beyond what Holly at a time thought was possible. She could believe her scroll could connect her to other people, or that a refrigerator could keep things cold. She could not believe that something metal could fly and think on its own like that. While Holly had currently more gotten used to Jixie, she had honestly gone a bit overboard in the other direction and treating the little machine like it could understand everything and treating it with a lot of respect like she would do any person. [break] [break] At least Holly was safe during the robot uprising. [break] [break] Having greater her favourite robot…at least she thought he was her favourite one, Holly turned towards Niraya to give the other girl a smile and a hug. “You made it! I almost got worried you got delayed in the streets! Ready to climb?” [break] [break] While still in the act of hugging, Rose would approach the two other members of today's climbing expedition. Well, she landed near the two girls which caused Holly to startle slightly. This made her let go of Niraya as Holly took a step backwards. Since when does Rose jump everywhere she goes? Is this a power move that Holly is not aware of? Jumping menacingly like a muscular grasshopper with blond hair? After the initial jolt of fear, Holly seemed to relax well enough. Though still a little bit uncomfortable around the blond, Holly gave a decent Holly-ish introduction. [break] [break] “You jump and I get jumpy! What a world! Also, yush! We got a tower that is no match for us girls! Though, I do have a way to make this climb a little bit more interesting, considering that I think that we could climb it in less than a minute if we wanted to. I tried to make it into a game!” [break] [break] Holly took her scroll out of her pocket and opened up a site in front of her fellow climbers. [break] [break] “This site has like a million different questions if you press the button. The temple has five layers, and to get to know each other a bit better, we could use these questions! Someone presses the button and asks a question. One that tells a bit about yourself, or maybe is a bit awkward! Then we each answer the question truthfully, and then you may go to the next layer if you were honest! If you do not want to answer, or are a poo poo liar, you do not get to climb! Then we hand the scroll to another person and they ask a question!” [break] [break] Hopefully people would like the little game Holly devised last night. It was either this or drinking a bottle of alcohol on each layer and see who at the end could still make the climb to the top. And Holly’s one experience with overdosing didn’t made her that anxious for being drunk. She didn’t want to barf like that in the infirmary ever again. [break] [break] Seeming to pick at Random, Holly offered her scroll to Niraya with a smile. Seeming to trust the Faunus without question with the device, she cheerfully elected Niraya to have the first pick. “You may ask the first questions. Sometimes there is a weird one that doesn’t apply to us, so you can just skip one of those.” [break] [break] Time for a fun and non-invasive climbing game! [break] [break]

Jixie happily circles around Holly when she greets her. Jixie was quite playful and it helped get people to like her even though she is an A.I. Niraya hugs Holly when she was finally her turn. When rose approached it was quite sudden and Niraya had her hands on her weapon before noticing Rose. "OH...hi again rose." Niraya waves at her and calms down a bit with a deep breath.

Holly speaks up explaining what they were doing. and an interesting little game. one person asks a question and the others answer it to move higher up the building or give up there turn. Niraya pulls out her scroll and puts in the URL it wasn't a friendly-looking site but if holly wanted to use these questions she wouldn't argue. Niraya was to get the first go at it.

Niraya presses the button on the site and gets her question. "Was there ever an event in your life that defied explanation?" Niraya looks at both Holly and Rose. Jixie slowly drifts around watching them and kinda avoiding rose as her entrance scared the little drone. Niraya was curious about what would be their answers if they did answer it.
