TRP is a post-Great War AU RWBY RP set in Mistral City and Haven Academy with no canons, no rank claims, no maidens, and no god interference. We offer a progression system and site-wide events that change the setting based on player actions.

Time for an actual upgrade! Cashing in 1EP earned from Vytal to raise Seiya's XP total to 605 (current = 355), then using that new total of 605 on the following.
Spending 425 to upgrade Seiya's semblance:
Psychofield
Rank of Semblance: D.
One Sentence Summary of Semblance: Psychofield is a manipulator-type Semblance which grants ranged omnidirectional control over a set of matching neurologically-linked weapons.
Description of Semblance: Mechanically, the Psychofield grants Seiya precision remote control and operation over two weapons dubbed Layla and Elma, requiring a touch/near-field activation before working.
Thanks to an experimental neural implant, the otherwise unremarkable daughter of Doctor Ciaran Sune, Seiya, was given the gift of an artificial Semblance. The Pyschofield is an approximation of a typical manipulator-type skillset, granting distant control over two weapons dubbed the PCF-AtX01/1 "Layla" [PSYCHOFIELD-Atlas Prototype ver.] and PCF-AtX01/2 "Elma" [PSYCHOFIELD-Atlas Prototype ver.], known more simply as Layla and Elma. The Psychofield is also, however, atypical in one very large way: it is not natural, and instead relies on the harmony of technology and a poorly-understood Aura to function.
While extensive testing was performed to determine the theoretical upper-limits of the Psychofield and its associated technology, the system currently operates in a reduced fashion with an effective range of control of up to eighteen metres (the length of a semi-truck). As training and real-life combat scenario data are fed into the NCM and back to the technicians in Atlas, these limits will be increased -- but until then, Seiya's role as long-range support is constrained to a eighteen-metre-long leash; both Psychoarm Units can be controlled independently within this bubble, moving back and forth and all around as required.
Drawbacks of Semblance: The Psychofield is entirely artificial, wrought of technology and not of the soul. Should Layla or Elmas's corresponding Psychotracer Bit lose their connections by any means, the associated funnel-sword will immediately cease operation of its GDCS (Gravity Dust Control System) and automatically revert to its unopened and largely inoperable form. Seiya's Aura plays absolutely no part in the operation of the Psychofield beyond general physical fitness and health, rendering it incapable of being boosted in the same way a vast number of Semblances can theoretically be. A constant feedback of information pings back to the huntress whenever her 'Semblance' is in use, with usage approaching the operational limits of range having the rather undesirable effect of overloading the mind of its user. In a best case scenario this is simply uncomfortable and easily reversed, while at its worst can cause the young huntress to blackout or suffer episodes of severe and prolonged pain. Indeed, while the Psychofield -- and Layla and Elma with it -- offer a tremendous deal of combat effectiveness, the experimental nature of the systems at play requires constant retuning and the accrual of relevant data to enhance its potential.
Then, spending a further 75 on a new skill. Name is the same as the proposed one we spoke about via Discord private messaging the other day but it's different from as as discussed:
Name of Combat Ability: Red Comet (Semblance-Enabled Agility).
Rank of Combat Ability: F.
Description of Combat Ability: Far from an intended use of the expensive equipment supplied to her, Seiya is able to use Layla and Elma to assist in evasive manoeuvres thanks to her artificial Semblance. By physically pulling herself around in an elaborate yet keenly controlled way thanks to her training, it is possible for the young Atlesian to slip and weave past oncoming threats. Much like her close-quarters capabilities, effective use of the technique relies on her Aura to power the Psychofield.
