Hello! This is an experiment that may or may not be repeated in the future, but I wanted to give this a whirl instead of the established model because the established model has had very limited success. I'm instead going to put forward the carrot rewarding certain character backgrounds rather than individual histories/face claims/power sets. This incentive will last until all of it is claimed, and once that happens I'll reassess and see if that's the way to go moving forward.
The new model will start as a trial run of three people who recently gave up a significant amount of EP and instead of having that EP go into the ether per the precedent established in this transfer I'm letting the same thing happen again but for concepts. I, for example, recently used 3EP -- two for an XP transfer and one for a B rank upgrade tax. None of this went to any of my characters, and was just paid as tax to get other things done. That would have been 750XP, and instead of letting that disappear I'm going to redistribute it.
The process goes like this: Literally everything stays the same and this does not contradict anything established previously in any way but an extra step is added. That step is that if a character fulfills the requirements below, they get additional XP for however long the store of XP lasts if they claim the XP in this thread with proof.
Note: Players who claim falsely have their characters made forever ineligible for this award due to attempts to cheat like counting 10 OOC posts like submission thread or progress thread posts as part of the 20 in character posts. In character means in character, and I cannot make that more clear. If you falsely claim to have the requirements when you don't, you and all your characters are rendered ineligible in the future.
Other funds may appear over time, as there is more than one person eligible to have one. Currently there is 3EP from Wolfe and 1EP from Jay in the pool.
Wolfe Fund: Haven Academy characters made in 2020 or later that achieved 20 in character posts and verifiably graduated from an accredited combat academy get 150 additional XP upon claiming this reward. (5 uses remaining) Characters who edit their backstory after character creation will not be eligible for this award. This backstory must be present at acceptance for the character to be eligible.
Jay Fund: Kerch Kozak characters made in 2020 or later that achieved 20 in character posts and are Faunus War veterans with history in Menagerie (born there, or lived there for 4+ years) get 200 additional XP upon claiming this reward. (1 uses remaining). Characters who edit their backstory after character creation will not be eligible for this award. This backstory must be present at acceptance for the character to be eligible.
