Description of Combat Ability: While it is very easy for Ruqa to break and replace her prosthetics, even she has to acknowledge what a waste of good metal it can be. With some adjustments, Ruqa had outfitted Mantis Brachius with new armoured plating made up of an aluminum alloy which has greatly increased the lifespan of her prosthetics. Additionally, a quick investment into some body armour has help to further mitigate damage. Light and concealable, it is none the less useful given that she tends to be standing in the way of incoming damage, even more so when she went into the solo huntress career. Engineering personalized armour, improving her personal defence, as well as knowing when to stay on the backfoot is an increasingly important part of her fighting strategy.

If sat down in front of a career guidance counciller and asked to describe where she could see herself in 10 years, Ruqa would struggle to answer such a simple question. For the sake of getting it over with, Ruqa might just say she just wants to become the best huntress she can be but it wouldn't be a very satisfying answer. In truth, Ruqa has a hard time imagining ever imagine growing older then she already is. Call it the naivety of youth thinking it will last forever but she never expected herself to live past her teenage years. She had been sure that something bad would have happened to her by now, by chance or fate, but it is a pleasant surprise to see that she has escaped an early death and a confirmation that she is, in her own way doing alright.
She can probably just keep fighting and doing the huntress gig for the rest of her life. And if she has the choice, head towards whatever is interesting and move away from whatever is boring. That is what living is like, right? Go to your next class, go on the next mission, pass Go and collect $200, forever.
Ruqa hopes that one day she can find something that really catches her interest. Something that excites her so much that she would never want to leave. Or at the very least, something she would want to return to.
Fears: Ruqa is well aware that she is not a good person but it would be awfully annoying to realize that other people know it too.
She isn't particularly heroic which is a fact that a better person might feel shame in but Ruqa is confident enough to know where she stands. What Ruqa does fear are the expectations and perceptions others have of her. Style of Self-Expression: The young huntress has often been heard, quite loudly, telling the other girls in Haven to show off that "huntress fire" that she claims to see inside them. To Ruqa, being a huntress is all about spirit and willpower and being a force of nature that won't let anything stand in it's way.
Ruqa is an in-your-face kinda gal with a devil-may-care attitude and carries herself with a confidence and energy hard to match. She enjoys meeting new people and can be very amicable as long as people don't get on her nerves. Otherwise, Ruqa is content to be a free spirit and follows whatever is currently the most exciting thing around her.
During her time at Haven Academy she just wants to have fun, try not to take life too seriously and wishes to act however she likes without worrying about the consequences. She will give any situation the respect she believes it deserves but this often can be interpreted as being disengenous. She does her best to be an optimist in all situations but she is still prone to moments of cynicism.
Some people find her to be rude and abrasive as Ruqa has a bit of a sharp tounge and will call people out for being idiots and daring others to prove her wrong. She can be infuriatingly smug if she ever gains the advantage, wearing a sly smirk on her face in front of both friends and enemies.
Most Important Thing: Although Ruqa thinks of herself as an independant person she does want to be the kind of person her friends can rely on. To be the person others go for help but never seems to show any vulnerability. If she breaks a leg she would rather walk it off than to lean on someone else and if she was outnumbered and needed backup she would downplay the danger if anyone asked her. Ruqa is very much a prideful person and won't stand any insults at her character whether they are true or not. Evidently she does cares about what other people think of her though her responses to any attacks on her pride will only further serve to spread rumours about her own hostility. There are very few that can get away with insulting Ruqa to her face and even fewer that can force an appology out of her.
Lastly, it is very important to Ruqa that she believes herself to have done her best. In any fight, goal, or task that Ruqa believes to be worth her attention and effort Ruqa will give it her best shot and do as much as she can with the time she has got. She might fail in the end but no one will be able to say she didn't try her damnest. The young huntress picks and chooses whatever fights she wants and she never goes down without giving it her all. She hasn't done much to be proud of in this life, the strength afforded to her is all but temporary, but this endurance, she hopes, is something to be admired.

A truly unusual hunter in training at Haven Academy Ruqa disrupts whatever currently passes as normal wherever she goes. While students with mechanical augmentations are not especially rare in the life threatening career of Huntsmen where physical disabilities are common place, Ruqa stands out with her own set of dual paired mechanical arms. They say that many hands make light work and the huntress herself is frequently quoted as saying she is as capable as two people. Whether she can live up to her own words will only be revealed with enough time.

Accepting her unique prosthetic weapons was ultimately Ruqa's own choice to abandon any chance of living a civilian life and to become a huntress. The weapon's themselves don't particularly make her better fighter than the average two handed brawler but they are incredibly versatile and adaptable. Ruqa's abilities in combat only increase with every upgrade although it does bring to question whether she is strong though her own will or if she is only strong due to the weapons she carries.

Ruqa is a midlingly, average student at best. Her few interests outside of training include sports, parkour, and exploration. A person truly only suited for physical hands-on work although if she really wants to become an independant field hunter she must work on other technical skills unless she is satisfied being a hunter that you only have to point a finger at her next target.

A talent for being at the center of attention, Ruqa had been a recognizable face after her defense against dust thieves during her time at one of Argus' Training Academies. The event was the reason for the injuries on the upper half of her body as well as an emotional catalyst for the motivations that drove her to become a huntress. However, her instructers had privately stated that they worried about her lack of self preservation and that although they could not stop her from applying to Haven they did hope that her time there would curb that reckless streak of hers.

A thrill seeker at heart, Ruqa gravitates towards what is exciting and dangerous. She seems to not understand the purpose of Huntsmen in the context of the world, her own goals to graduate from Haven Academy only define her a career path that allows her to fight to her hearts content and pays her enough to survive. Such motivations would be dangerous in any aura-weilder, one that could easily lead to a life of crime or banditry where violence and modest wealth are easily attainable. If not for the more lax qualifications in previous years someone like Ruqa might not have been accepted into Haven although the exception was made thanks to her entrance interview. A truly unusual hunter in training at Haven Academy Ruqa disrupts whatever currently passes as normal wherever she goes. While students with mechanical augmentations are not especially rare in the life threatening career of Huntsmen where physical disabilities are common place, Ruqa stands out with her own set of dual paired mechanical arms. They say that many hands make light work and the huntress herself is frequently quoted as saying she is as capable as two people. Whether she can live up to her own words will only be revealed with enough time.

Accepting her unique prosthetic weapons was ultimately Ruqa's own choice to abandon any chance of living a civilian life and to become a huntress. The weapon's themselves don't particularly make her better fighter than the average two handed brawler but they are incredibly versatile and adaptable. Ruqa's abilities in combat only increase with every upgrade although it does bring to question whether she is strong though her own will or if she is only strong due to the weapons she carries.

Ruqa is a midlingly, average student at best. Her few interests outside of training include sports, parkour, and exploration. A person truly only suited for physical hands-on work although if she really wants to become an independant field hunter she must work on other technical skills unless she is satisfied being a hunter that you only have to point a finger at her next target.

A talent for being at the center of attention, Ruqa had been a recognizable face after her defense against dust thieves during her time at one of Argus' Training Academies. The event was the reason for the injuries on the upper half of her body as well as an emotional catalyst for the motivations that drove her to become a huntress. However, her instructers had privately stated that they worried about her lack of self preservation and that although they could not stop her from applying to Haven they did hope that her time there would curb that reckless streak of hers.
Promotion Record (Promote to Elite LV1)
A thrill seeker at heart, Ruqa gravitates towards what is exciting and dangerous. She seems to not understand the purpose of Huntsmen in the context of the world, her own goals to graduate from Haven Academy only define her a career path that allows her to fight to her hearts content and pays her enough to survive. Such motivations would be dangerous in any aura-weilder, one that could easily lead to a life of crime or banditry where violence and modest wealth are easily attainable. If not for the more lax qualifications in previous years someone like Ruqa might not have been accepted into Haven although the exception was made thanks to her entrance interview. In summary of the conversation, her motivations are for the most part selfish but if she can help others while having fun herself then what's the harm in joining the battle?
