Because of this strict discipline, the girl is also quite book smart. Knowing the inns and outs of most things you could find in a textbook. Unfortunately, she is not always capable of translating the theoretical knowledge into practical knowledge, meaning she spends a lot of time practicing.
When it comes to interacting with others, Améli can be quite accomodating, so long as the others behave within certain confines. A couple of mistakes, the girl can accomodate and understand. Description of Semblance: Sanctuary allows Améli to create a zone which originates with her as the center. Within this zone, any emotions are intercepted from affecting anything outside the field. Mechanically, this disallows Grimm from utilizing their emotion sensing, rendering anything within the area invisible to their sight. Individuals or creatures that are tethered once they enter the zone. Upon leaving the zone, whether by force or by choice, these enemies experience exhaustion, targetting their speed and stamina. Both are reduced by a singular rank.
The first enemy to leave the zone suffers a double penalty to their stamina.
Drawbacks of Semblance: The zone only lasts for up to three turns of time and cannot be moved after having been activated. The zone is immediately dispelled if Améli leaves the area, and takes an additional three turns to recharge after having been used. If a character has higher rank durability than Améli has her semblance, they are unaffected by the stamina drain. Likewise, if a character has higher rank stamina than Améli has her semblance, they are unaffected by the speed drain.

Biography
History
Ameli was born into a noble lineage within the city of Atlas. High Judge of the capitol Harleen was her mother, while the State Prosecutor Gerrard was her father. This meant that a distinct moral compass was passed onto her from a very early age. It also meant that, while other youngsters were playing games, having fun, choosing their own path, Améli had only one path to follow. As one might expect, each and every day was the same. In the mornings, the girl would be having general physiological training to improve her conditioning. After having finished, there'd be several hours spent on reading up on law, logic, arguments and strategy. The afternoon would be spent honing her abilities to wield different weapons, while the evening was spent learning simple survival things to a basic level. How to hone your blade, how to cook in the wilds, how to stay alive.
At the age of thirteen, Améli was enrolled into Atlas Primary Combat School. The time she spent there was, contrary to what many may believe, not very spectacular. The girl was always on time, always doing her job, always keeping in line. Yet beyond being the literal ideal student, nothing about the girl stood out. No rulebreaking, no flashy entrances, no grandiouse speeches or declarations of wishes. No, all Améli ever portrayed was a simple discipline. A steadfastedness. Everyone knew that with her at their back, they had a rock solid pillar to lean against.
After passing through the combat school with flying colors, Améli would have an odd conversation with her parents. To strengthen Atlas and to maintain allies, several students were requested to transfer to Haven after an incident which occured only due to incompetence and impatience, if Améli was to believe her father. Regardless, the girl had been asked to step into the unknown. The girl had been asked to do something spectacular. Things that very much weren't on her favorite list of topics. Despite all of this, the family had a duty to the city. A duty which had to be fulfilled. A duty which Améli would fulfill. Without so much as showing a grain of doubt, the girl bowed her head, preparing to leave.
