The prosthetics are obviously not flesh at even a cursory glance due to their strange bulk when compared to normal limbs as well as their solid porcelain white coloration. Over time, the prosthetics have become scuffed and blackened in various parts and the seam lines for the various additional features of the limbs are much more visible than they once were, criss-crossing her legs and arms like spiderwebs allowing brief glimpses into the inner workings of the technology.

Her prosthetics also seem to super-charge when this activates, glowing a deep bloody red and humming while her claws grow more hellish looking. None of these effects do damage or any other meaningful combat use, they are simply cosmetic.
When this transformation occurs, Brigit regenerates 33% of her lost aura instantly, gains 3 posts of stamina, and her Strength is boosted to D for 4 posts.
Drawbacks of Semblance: The activation of the semblance requires no small amount of risk in allowing her aura to be reduced so far. In addition to this, the semblance has a 3 post cooldown after the bonus wears off.

All four Prosthetics have the ability to extend long razor-sharp blades. In the arm prosthetics this manifests as the fingers on each hand sharpening into their blade form while still retaining enough dexterity to be able to grab things, though awkwardly.
In the leg prosthetics, the blades rise up along the entire length of the lower leg stopping just before the foot and of course at the seam between flesh and machine. These blades are not flexible at all and remain embedded firmly within the leg to allow forceful kicks and slashes with the right technique.
Secondly, the leg prosthetics are able to launch a pair of grappling spikes from a port held within each thigh that are able to either wrap around a target using the wires they trail behind them, or embed themselves into an object using the sharp spiked tip that can flare open upon piercing something.

Biography
History
Far to the southeast of Mistral along the coast is a chain of active volcanoes that is home to the Akane family home and business - a red dust mining operation along the inside rim and outer slopes of active volcanoes. Brigit was born into the family business after it had been in operation for five years under the control of her mother Eon, and was raised from the time she could walk to understand the dangers of their environment and the skills required to survive the dust gathering process in a place that can, quite easily, burn you alive.
Even with the constant focus on training and skills, Brigit was lucky enough to have a wonderful childhood supported by her parents, sister, and the not exactly small amount of wealth that the family had acquired from their work.
Brigit is a thrillseeker, and was from a young age. By the time she was 15 and able to utilize the grappling and mining equipment that her family relied on, she began to work on the slopes of the mountains as one of the people that risked their lives to harvest dust. As the years went by, every day was a new adventure to see if she could get higher on the slopes, deeper into the volcano, closer to the heat and the danger. There was a certain excitement that came with risking her life, and the context in which she did it was secondary.
At age 17, Brigit went too far. Nearing the apex of one of the volcanoes, a place her parents only usually allow people with suits designed specifically for heat to go, she lost her footing and stumbled just a bit too close to a pool of magma along the slope of the mountain, lighting her arms and legs swiftly on fire and causing her to stumble and fall from the mountain in a tangle of flame and limbs. It was here, nearing death from aura depletion as the fire ate away at her, that her semblance first activated and gave her the second wind necessary to find a pair of climbers working for her parents that could take her back to safety.
Her legs and arms couldn’t be saved, her parents told her, this was the only way. It was months later when Brigit awoke in an unfamiliar place with an unfamiliar chill settled deep into her bones and an unfamiliar feeling in place of where her arms and legs once were. All four limbs had to be removed, and her parents had spared no expense in finding suitable replacements for them in the form of Atlesian prosthetics that doubled as weapons and climbing gear. Later, the hospital staff would tell her that the scream she gave when she woke up was loud enough to bring an armed group of Atlesians into the hospital to ensure things were okay.
It took nearly a full year before Brigit could climb again or move with any level of accuracy or grace, but she got there. Her insatiable desire for danger and risk seemed to have been made worse by the discovery of what her semblance could allow her to do, and prosthetic limbs that were much harder to lose than the organic ones she had possessed before. Becoming a huntsman, and the risks and excitement associated with that lifestyle was enticing enough for her to leave the family business to her older sister and go her own way, towards the next challenge.
