Combat & Inventory
Afterimage
Rank of Semblance: E
Semblance Type: Physical Boost
One Sentence Summary of Semblance: Afterimage is a Physical Boost type semblance that increases Wilt's agility and provides an omni-directional dash.
Description of Semblance: When activated, Afterimage creates a visual mirage of Wilt that remains perfectly still while simultaneously cloaking her. These effects last for a bout a second each, meaning that they have absolutely no real use when it comes to things like stealth or infiltration. The main benefit of this semblance is instead that as soon as the cloaking effect triggers, Wilt receives an instant boost in acceleration that allows her to perform a dash in any direction.
Mechanically, Afterimage has two functions. The first is that it functions as an Agility ability, meaning that Wilt is able to use it as her primary method of dodging. The second is that it allows her to perform an omnidirectional dash that sends them up to twelve meters in a straight line- this dash can be used alongside normal Speed and Acrobatics, allowing for an enormous amount of mobility.
Drawbacks of Semblance: Afterimage is not a particularly demanding semblance. Due to the simplicity of it, the only real drawback is the fact that it draws on Wilt's Aura to use it.
Ebb and Flow
Rank of Weapon(s): F
Description of Weapons(s): Ebb and Flow are a set of paired swords that share a scabbard. Under normal circumstances they are used separately, as they each serve distinct purposes. Flow is a straight, eastern style sword that favor quick sweeping motions and is well suited for dealing with quicker or less armored enemies. Ebb, on the other hand, is an executioner's blade that is well used for heavy chopping strikes and which tends to be most effective against slower but tougher enemies. The Scabbard itself has a removable section on the end that can be slotted with dust cartridges, and the blades can be coated with a small trigger hidden near top of the construct.
Non-Combat Abilities
Name of Non-Combat Ability: Tracking
Rank of Non-Combat Ability: F
Description of Non-Combat Ability: From her time as a Bandit, Wilt has a well developed sense for stalking and tracking targets. While this was traditionally a skill used for tracking down travelers and caravans, it's still a versatile and useful skill to have.
Combat Abilities
Name of Combat Ability: Informal Martial Arts (Martial Arts)
Rank of Combat Ability: E
Description of Combat Ability: Having trained for most of her life in the use of hand-held weaponry, Wilt is a decently accomplished swordsman. It goes without saying that she has the most familiarity with her twin swords Ebb and Flow, although she's not incapable of fighting with her bare hands if need be.
Name of Combat Ability: High-Speed Movement (Speed)
Rank of Combat Ability: F
Description of Combat Ability: When you live on the wrong side of the law, you've gotta learn to move fast. Rather you're running to or from danger, at the end of the day it's all the same. While she does tend to use her semblance as a crutch to help her move around, even without it Wilt is still fairly quick on her feet.
Name of Combat Ability: Graceful Foot Work (Acrobatics)
Rank of Combat Ability: F
Description of Combat Ability: Before entering into Sanctum academy, Wilt relied solely on her semblance to help her get around tricky obstacles. When she saw the way the other students moved, though, she couldn't help but feel that she was letting herself fall behind. With a lot of hard training, she's since worked herself up to what she considers an acceptable level of athleticism.
Name of Combat Ability: Heavy-Sword Wielder (Strength)
Rank of Combat Ability: F
Description of Combat Ability: Having spent a large part of her life lugging around a fairly hefty weapon, Wilt is not nearly so frail as she might appear. While she wields her swords aptly, moving them freely with a two handed grip, she is more than capable of wielding even Ebb's substantial mass in her off hand without slowing herself down.
Name of Combat Ability: Grit (Durability)
Rank of Combat Ability: F
Description of Combat Ability: Having grown up in a particularly harsh environment, Wilt spent most of her youth getting into fights that often left her bloodied. This has helped toughen her up quite a bit, and she's able to handle a decent amount of punishment thanks to to that fact.

Biography
Personality/History Freeform
In Mistral, there are the upper and lower classes. While the upper class are often lauded as enlightened heralds of the high arts, the lower class exist on the other side of the coin. The lower class is interspersed with criminals of varying degrees of organization, ranging from the bandits that live apart from society to those who serve beneath the lords of the underworld. In the case of the young Wilt, she was born into the life of a bandit. Raised in a walled off camp in the wilderness, surrounded by criminals both petty and heinous, the young Ms Thyne grew to be the sort of person that her environment expected her to be. She was harsh and quick to violence, meeting challenges from her peers with aggression in order to maintain herself within a dynamic, hierarchical society.
Over time, Wilt grew to be a skilled swordsman. She was tough and quick, ready to fight at a moment's notice but smart enough not to get involved in fights that she couldn't win. These were the qualities that let her rise in the ranks within her clan. That said, the leader of the bandits was clever and knew that there were threats that could only be addressed with either great force or great numbers. While they had the latter, none of the bandits were truly powerful enough to hold their own against genuinely skilled hunters or huntresses. This was where Wilt's young age came into play.
After an intense amount of preparation, Wilt eventually found herself standing in Argus City. It was the first time she'd sat foot in a proper city over the whole of her life, and she spent a few days being plainly overwhelmed. Fortunately, she eventually made her way to her target; Sanctum Academy. With documents procured from incredibly unsavory sources, she managed to work her way into the school and quickly proved herself to be a competent of overly pragmatic student. She kept mostly to herself, but managed to keep her aggressive tendencies... well, not completely in check but a least to a minimum. It's hard to say rather the false documents she had been provided held up throughout her attendance, or if the faculty decided that she could be worth something if given a chance... Either way, as her time in the school went on, Wilt eventually found that she checked in less and less often with her "family". In fact, by the time Wilt was closing her stay at Sanctum she had gone entirely dark. Not only had she begun ghosting her past associates altogether, she'd found that the feeling of working towards something unambiguously good was such a pleasant change of pace that she had decided to genuinely put her focus on trying to become a proper huntress.
At some point during her second year in Sanctum, Wilt had the misfortune of running into some of Argus' less fortunate underbelly. A shabby boy with a thick coat, whose name she would later learn to be Kier, had been starting quarrels with some of Sanctum's students. This wasn't really something that concerned or even particularly bothered Wilt, but when this scruffy kid tried to do the same to Wilt he seemed somewhat taken off guard when she immediately reciprocated with force. They got into a fight that left the boy pretty poorly off. Over the course of about a full year, Wilt had a fair few scuffles with the orphan kid before he finally left off- apparently having come to realize that he wasn't making any headway in trumping his constant beatings at the hands of the much more adequately trained girl.
Either way, she had to deal with Haven Academy's requisite exams. Despite her competence, she nearly found herself at a loss during the first portion of the exams; a tournament of sorts. Much to her surprise, Wilt eventually found herself squaring off with that same orphan kid, Kier, from her earlier years at Sanctum. This particular match gave her two big problems to overcome. The first was that Kier had gotten much better at fighting in the few years since their last confrontation. The second was that he was somehow even more irritating than he ever was before. Over the fight he pulled out tricks and traps, surprising and taunting her until Wilt was so thoroughly pissed off that she could barely see straight. Still, she'd always been tough and after biting her tongue and forcing herself to refocus Wilt pushed through and secured close victory. While she didn't put on the best show out of the contestants, she at least kept herself from falling out entirely. The second portion, a survival segment in the forest, was something she excelled at. Calling back to her time outside of the city she had no problems maneuvering around the area and the Grimm there were weak enough that she was able to cope with them without too much effort.
The last thing that really proved to be an issue was the array of psychological tests that Wilt had to go through, prior to her acceptance. Thoughts of her past and the few fights she'd gotten into during her stay at Sanctum left her nervous, but as it turned out she had nothing to worry about. She was slightly chided for her mercenary attitude, but ultimately she showed no signs of becoming some sort of murderous lunatic.
That night was one of the first times she'd gone out to celebrate with her peers, something she found nice if a bit awkward. While her past might catch up to her some day, she just hoped it would be after her graduation.
