Secondary Category: Combatants (+1 to all rolls due to specialization)
One Sentence Summary of Semblance: Subject: Lunar has the manipulator semblance of Aspect of the Moon which allows the wielder to create and solidify moonlight.
Description of Semblance: Subject: Lunar (Altalune Gloriole) has been experimented and trained when her semblance manifested quite early due to the harsh conditions of her seclusion, which meant it was tested and bent to her wardens will. Due to this, she has decent control over what she can manifest with moonlight, which whilst limited during the day, is expodentially powerful during the night. During the day, she can manage to create one weapon in broad daylight, two if in shade. At night however, she can create up to four weapons, and gains the capability to fire beams of moonlight instead of the weapon manifestation. No matter what time of day it manifests, a sigil appears on the subjects forehead, of a crescent mood with a full moon above it
Drawbacks of Semblance: Aura drain on use and maintenance. Whilst the semblance can be strong during the nighttime, fighting at day puts her at a severe disadvantage, as well as being more straining and depletes more aura if she keeps using it.

Primary Drive: As of now, her main goal is to find shelter and safety, away from the prying eyes of anyone official. Her entire life has been locked up and she aims to get the full use out of it before she dies, no matter how tragic her death.
Fears: Being found by the ones who tortured her for so long. She even fears death less than those that captured her. She would dose up with poisons if she had to so her freedom wasn't stripped by them again.
Style of Self-Expression: Subject: Lunar has never had contact with the outside world, she doesn't understand society, she didn't even know money was a concept. She only knew the moon and its cycles, as well as combat. She expresses herself with combat stances no matter the situation, due to her incredible lack of social understanding.
Most Important Thing: Freedom and her life. She doesn't even understand the value of her life outside of the fact she was meant to be some great weapon for a huge destiny. Yet, her mind wasn't for this plan. Her mind and her heart wanted freedom, the right to make her own choices. She knew there was a world outside of her four walls and training yard, but knew nothing about this world
She wanted to see that world.
Subject: Lunar is the only name she's ever known. Since she was an infant, she had been kidnapped by rogue government officials of Atlas as part of their daring escape to start their own "revolution", unhappy with the results the current government was producing. These officials believed they had the power and the ideas to conquer the world again, and plunge the world into another Great War, shattering the Vytal treaty. But when they were completely overruled by the council, they revolted and fled, taking their "project" with them.
For years, growing up was difficult. She was pushed to the edge and the brink of death constantly as soon as she could hold a weapon, as these officials believed they could turn this small girl into a weapon of war. To take back Atlas and usher a new era. They had placed all their eggs into this one basket. Project: Lunar.
With their understanding of Aura and Semblances, they believed they could "enforce" a semblance onto a huntress if they managed to mould their personality around the ideals they had set. So from infant till she unlocked her semblance at the age of 10, the lunar cycles and the research on the Moon was drummed into the poor girl, keeping her believing she was this "Chosen of the Moon", the one who would bring in a new age of "prosperity and hope". For years, she believed them because, well... who could say otherwise. This facility that held her was hidden for a long, long time.
Too long, as the effects of the Faunus war actually didn't affect this experiment at all. The location was never discovered and as the years passed, Project: Lunar moulded into a beautiful young lady, devout to the Moon and her blessings, ready to lay her life on the line for the betterment of the world. Ready to fight corruption, plague, Grimm, famine and more. But as all hope was gained for the officials, it started to dwindle. For Lunar was a curious girl, as all girls were.
She started asking questions. Ones about the world outside of her tiny room, ones about the whispers of war. Ones about faunus nature. All of these, she had learnt from one of the guards who accidentally let it slip whilst she was around. This guard soon departed from the facility, and this upset the experiment. She liked that guard, he was kind and gentle but now without this guard, things began to become harsher, tougher and deadlier. The training became harder, the Grimm they captured to fight her became bigger and her curiousity continued to rise, before it became doubt. She began to doubt the officials, the scientists, her carers. She knew there was a world out there, but they were keeping it from her.
On her final night held captive, her room was left unlocked which was the first mistake. Curiousity won, and she snuck into the halls, and passed guards undetected. Within an hour, she had learnt more than she knew in the past 18 years. She was a prisoner, she was being tortured to become a weapon and she was to destroy Atlas and it's government, whatever that word meant. Yet she hated the prospect of killing other people, people that could be like that guard.
So the experiment broke her chains and escaped her captivity. A tough feat but she managed to break free and enter the world for the first time ever. Despite the conditions near the facility, it took a few days to find any sign of civilsation, just as she was starting to give up. They saved her from the certain death another few more hours in the wild would've done, but just as she came, she left. She needed to leave this frozen hell, and find somewhere new. One of the nice citizens that took her in mentioned ferries going to a city called Argus in Mistral. These words meant nothing but she asked to go there with urgency.
Several weeks passed after she got on this ferry, having her ride paid by the kind citizens in exchange to defend them on their travel there, when she arrived in Argus, a beautiful coastal town... but snow was still present. This meant she was in reach of them, and had to keep going. Asking around, she learnt enough information to head south and go to the city of Mistral... which seemed strange to her because she was already in Mistral? But her mind trusted the words of the helpful few, and she began her travel.
