[attr="class","qiutext"] As Qiu'li landed to the ground with a thud and a roll, he looked up to see Niraya following suit as well as the new addition of security guards. Thankfully they can't seem to get on all at once due to.. well it was a narrow staircase and there were more of them now. Nevertheless, it would only buy them a little time before they caught up. As Niraya made it to the ground, she took off running immediately, though it didn't seem like she knew where she was going. Good grief. Qiu'li followed along, catching up to her rather easily by using his leaps. Getting her attention, he pointed towards the peaks and then towards the opposite direction. "Escape to Wind District. Lose in marketplace." Qiu'li said as he ducked into an alleyway and started making his way opposite of the two peaks. He knew that the only way was down, therefore it had to be the opposite direction. If they kept running about hoping to lose the guards, it'll only cause more trouble since they could very well easily call more patrols, thus making their escape that much harder. Yes, they needed to get out before that happened. Though upon reaching the outskirts towards the Cloud District, there was a problem. There was a larger number of guards here than usual and the gate was closely being watched. Meaning they couldn't simply stroll out. The walls that gated the Cloud district was fairly tall too, not to mention a general lack of uneven edges to grab onto. Seems like he'd have to rely on ingenuity. Taking several steps back, Qiu'li would get a running start at the seemingly insurmountable wall. With a flick, his three section staff Panlong appeared as he slammed it into the ground and launched himself upwards, just enough to be able to use the rest of his ability to overcome the obstacle as he grabbed ahold of the ledge. Pulling himself up, Qiu'li glanced over to see that some of the guards were taking notice. Urgh. He looked over to see if Niraya had been following him or not, and if so, what she would do to get past this final obstacle.

this was becoming a problem the guards were multiplying by the minute. Qui'li had caught up to her and motions for them to leave through the market. Niraya nods and takes a different route. The market wasn't too far away since that is where they basically started their little run. Niraya makes it back there and loses the few guards that followed her. As she headed for the exits she sees how heavily guarded they were suddenly. "what a pain." It's at this point she spots Qui'li leap over the city wall.

Niraya shakes her head. "he probably expects me to do that." She looks around and finds a tall structure near the wall and heads over towards it. Vixie was staying low to the ground to avoid being seen. Once Niraya got to the building she quickly climbs the building using what she had learned. Upon reaching the room she checks the distance to the wall it was slightly wider than she was expecting. she thinks for a bit. "Vixie float between the roof and the wall." Vixie does as she was told and floats between then unsure what Niraya was doing. "Hold still!" Niraya runs towards the wall and jumps as she expected she falls short but Vixie realizing what Niraya was up to corrects her position and help Niraya leap across.

once on the wall Niraya hops over the side and slides down it carefully before leaping off of it and rollings. She turns to check for guards and Qui'li before dashing back towards the academy for safety. once she was safe and the guards had given up Niraya would collapse and breath a sigh of relief. Vixie would land on Niraya's lap and Niraya pets Vixie. "Did you have fun?" Vixie beeps happily. "thats good to hear." She looks around unsure where Qui'li was.

[attr="class","qiutext"] That was something unexpected. While he would have half expected her to use her Semblance to toss icicle spears to make a staircase or used Vixie to launch her upwards, she took an approach that he hadn't anticipated and dared taking a leap of faith. Heh. She used Vixie as a jump off point to make up for the distance that she fell short of. It was a smart solution to a minor problem, and Qiu'li nodded with approval. They began their return down from the central Cloud District towards the Academy, though Qiu'li kept an eye out to see if they would be pursued since the Academy wast still in the Cloud District. It seems like they had given up for the most part. Once they made it back to campus, Qiu'li leaned against a wall to catch his breath. Phew... He glanced over to Niraya and gave a thumbs up. Seems like he taught her the basics, and there wasn't much more to know. Freerunning was all about getting from one place to the other in the fastest and most efficient way possible. From there, it was a matter of developing her own style and preferences. "Good job, Niraya." Qiu'li said as he did some post-exercise stretches. Although she was a bit rough around the edges, with enough training she'd be able to reach greater heights. Though as he watched her performances and the excitement, it reminded him of how much he still has to do. If there was nothing else to do or say, Qiu'li would head off to the training areas to continue his daily training.

Niraya spots Qui'li leaning on a wall nearby. He was giving her a thumbs up. Niraya smiles and her tail wags a bit. "thank you Qui'li" She figured there wasn't much else to learn and just sits there. Vixie had landed next to Niraya a little drained from the experience. Niraya pets vixie's head as Qui'li left to do more training by himself. Niraya sighs and after a bit gets up and carries vixie back inside. She need to work on that battery life so Vixie didn't run low on power after a while. and she needed a way for Vixie to convert between flying and rolling. but that was a job for another day. She heads up to her room and gets cleaned up from the days activities before going to work on Vixie.
