It was done.
The new weapon that he had put together in his mind’s eye had been transcribed into the world - first on to paper, and then into the careful embrace of a computer program designed specifically for aspiring students at combat schools to put their own specifications together for their new weapons. By inputting their height, weight, body shape, and various other statistics, the computer would modify the initial design to the user’s body and offer up alternatives on materials to lessen the weight - or, if the user was so inclined, to increase it, and by extension the durability of the weapon so being modified. Kishka, of course, had been invaluable in the process as well, offering up her own tips in weapon design and how the various parts would interact with one another to give the best result he wanted. A few nights had been spent with her by his side at the drawing board, tweaking and retweaking settings until they were just right - at this point, Ouroboros was almost as much her weapon as it was his.
Argent was grateful for the help. Subtle Calamity had been bought and tailored to him afterwards, but Ouroboros would be forged for, and designed for him, outright. Some of the flaws that he had noticed with the spear would be fixed with the new weapon, and he hoped that changing how he fought would improve his combat effectiveness, especially when it came to fighting Grimm and bandits in the wild.
“Broken Steel Forge,” he read aloud, standing on the street in front of the shop and looking up at the sign. It didn’t seem all that big, so he was a little skeptical of how well it might be able to turn out the parts he needed, but if Kishka had said it was alright, then he trusted her judgment. Turning to look at the dark skinned girl next to him, Argent tilted his head towards the shop questioningly.
“This the one?”

KISHKA BURZANOVA
They had come a really long way since they first met, months ago.
The purple-head thought about that as they walked through the city to the Broken Steel. There were a lot of close-knit friends at Haven, but she couldn't think of a pair that was closer than her and Argent. And to think, it all started completely by accident. Just an angry villain-to-be and a squishy, defenseless, snake boy. An unlikely pair if there ever was one. She liked to think they'd both grown a lot since then. He had pushed himself to new heights, and even made it onto the Argus Limited mission a little while back- she was still jealous of shitty dumb Nik for getting to go instead of her. And she would have to figure out who this Sonic113 fucker was, on the Sanctum News comment section. She was going to kick his/her ass so hard, it would feel like getting hit by the train itself. But that wasn't the point, the point was that she was really proud of him for coming so far in such a short amount of time.
And she hadn't just been slacking off either. She had been put to the test as a leader figure in her own assignment recently, not to mention all the chaos and adrenaline of the 3v3 class she had participated in. She still had a lot to do to get back to the level she was at, while at Sanctum, but she could do it.
More importantly, though, Kishka had, at Argent's request, started trying harder to make friends. It was no secret that she could be pretty nasty to most people she met. Downright hostile, even, most of the time. Arguably the only people that weren't immediately put off by her were him, smelly idiot Nik, and for some reason Evangeline. She frankly had no idea why the girl seemed so intent on doing a friendship to her, but she didn't exactly trust it, despite Argent's insistence that she was just really sweet and friendly. Her whole white-and-gold deal just set her teeth on edge. It was like if Bel was smaller, with a dumb accent.
That wasn't exactly fair, though- Bel wasn't nearly as nice to her sister as the little Atlesian. Frankly, the twins were worse to each other than she was to dummy thick-headed Nik. And that said a lot.
She did have one friendship success story, though, so far! One she was especially excited to share, as it was not only a great (and admittedly, probably mostly one-sided) friendship, but also a good business connection! See? She was more than capable of making friends and making solid investments and purchasing decisions.
And now Argent would have a great friend and business associate! She smiled to herself, as she swung her arm to and fro, her hand wrapped around his. Kishka was pretty excited about today- after many long nights of careful drafting and designing, the two had finally come up with the perfect concept for a weapon that could be all his own, just like her own Lucky 13. It was very exciting.
Though she did worry some.
It was dumb, and kind of silly, but she was definitely concerned about the fact that Argent and Niraya were both faunus. What if he liked her more than her!? It wasn't like it was especially normal for a faunus and a human to date anyways, and maybe he would prefer something a little easier to deal with, socially... Oh god, what if she was replacing herself by accident. Oof. And what if they had more in common? She had no idea what, but what if!? She considered turning around, leading him somewhere else, and expressing surprise that, 'oh no! i guess the forge closed down, oops, what a shame, let's go home.' But she realized how stupid her thoughts were. There wasn't any need for jealousy. And she felt a twinge of guilt for thinking that Argent might like Niraya more just because they were both faunus. That wasn't anything close to an actual fact. And if Argent had made anything clear since their very first meeting, it was that he definitely wasn't going concerned with a damn thing society had to say about him or his race. She took a little breath of relief, and cleared her head, though she did move a little closer to the tall boy.
Finally, they arrived at the shop, as Argent turned to clarify that they were at the right place. With a bright smile on her face, she nodded affirmatively, and led him by the hand into the forge. She gave a little nod of greeting to the man at the front. "Is Niraya in? The man nodded back, and gestured with his thumb, down the hall to the room she'd been in last time.
Stepping back into the back room, she was greeted by a cacophony of metallic sounds and the oddly comforting heat rising up from the furnaces and anvils. She took a glance at Argent. Hopefully he'd be fine with the heat for the time it took to assemble his weapon...
"Hello, Niraya!" she beamed at the fox girl. "Niraya, this is Argent. Argent, Niraya." She actually wasn't sure if the two were familiar with one another at all. Presumably, they were, both being students and all, but she couldn't tell. And of course, if Niraya had been listening during the girls' sleepover party, she might remember a slightly intoxicated Kishka mentioning a certain snake boy... Regardless, she thought it best to introduce them anyways. Names were hard sometimes, though frankly, anyone who couldn't remember 'Argent' was an idiot. Hell, even Nik got his name right more often than not, so for someone to mess up 'Argent,' they would have to be willfully stupider than her asshole cousin.
With a nudge, she pulled Argent forward, and gestured to him. "He's got an especially fun project for you to work on today- we've been working on the schematics for days! I trust that you are up to the job?" She grinned at Niraya, excited to see the finished product.
She was quite proud of her man and his cool new weapon. So very proud.

Niraya Platinum When snow falls, Nature listens.
[attr="class","rainbow"]
Niraya gets up early ready to work at the forge again. it wasn't cheap working on a drone. She takes a shower to help her wake up as Jixie flys around the room waiting for Niraya to finish. Niraya gets out of the bathroom with a towel and dries herself off. "Jixie I'm going to the forge today so you're stuck in my room sadly." Jixie lets out a sad beep. Niraya pets Jixie's head. "It's going to be ok I just need to get some more money to pay off the parts I got you." She smiles at Jixie before she starts to dry off her tail. it was always the hardest thing to dry off.
Once she was as dry as she was going to get with a wet towel she puts the towel on the shower rod to dry off and gets her forge clothing together and puts it in a bag. then gets some street clothes and puts them on. She was happily humming to herself as she worked Jixie just floats around attempting to repeat what Niraya was humming to poor effect.
Niraya grabs the bag of stuff and heads out the door. She walks through the halls on her way out of the school. She spots some of the girls she met at the party a few days ago and waves at them as she leaves. little did she know she was going to get a visit from one of them later that day. It takes Niraya about 20 minutes to walk to the forge. She greets Jack the store owner and heads on into the back and puts on the proper attire to get to work.
Niraya walks over to the chalkboard that hung next door to the shop area where Jack marks up what orders there are. She sees 4 orders for various blades two of them were marked with a T showing Tim was working on them and two of them were marked with a checkmark Roy's marking. Jack comes from the front and smiles at Niraya. "Just got an order of throwing knives. feel like handling that?" Niraya nods. "You know it. How many were ordered?" Jack looks at his list. "twenty-six of them." Niraya nods and heads on back as Jack writes up the order and puts a little fox face next to it. Niraya's sign that she was working on that order.
Niraya goes over to the supplies and chooses a thick bar of metal so she could make a billet of throwing knives and cut them out before final shaping and sharpening. she makes quick measurements to decide how they would be laid out before working with the bandsaw to cut up the metal to the starting shape and separate the blanks from each other. she then tosses them into the forge and pumps away on the bellows as she waits. The heat coming from the hot coals was quite relaxing to her.
once the metal was ready she pulls out one of them and starts to hammer at it forging out the edges. because it wasn't a lot of metal to move she gets the blade part finished pretty quickly. the rough forging making it easier to sharpen as less material needed to be removed. She then works on the ring in the back softening its edges both for sanding and refining its shape. once the first one was forged out she puts it into a water trough to cool for sharpening later. She then goes to work on the next one.
Around the time she was working on the last throwing knife, she hears the door open. She stops and looks over instinctively since she was nearly finished with one job to see if another order had come in. instead, she finds Kishka and a snake faunus holding hands. Kishka had mentioned she had the hots for a certain someone back at the party. This must have been that person. as they got closer she notices it was that snake faunus that had the dummy shoot blood onto her face. her immediate expression was one of irritation before Kishake even started speaking
Kishka goes on about a design they have been working on for a weapon. Kishka pushes Argent forward. Niraya holds up the recent forged piece of metal towards Argent. "I will work on your weapon. but know I will not tolerate any shenanigans here. that blood incident got me into some trouble as I was running through the school with it all over my face." Niraya tosses the throwing knife and it lands in the water trough all the while Niraya staring at Argent without blinking her face said it all she was a little irritated to see him. "You got that snake!"

One might think that in a world where none of them were particularly welcome in general, it would make sense for Faunus to be, if not on good terms, then at least fairly welcoming to each other. After all, the war hadn’t been all that long ago, and that resentment still lingered on in more places than anyone cared to admit. Who knew that simply wanting the same rights as anyone else would be this controversial?
However, it seemed that, in the Broken Steel Forge, at least, that wasn’t the case at all. Barely had he set foot in the door and gotten through introductions before the fox Faunus was spitting fire and fury in his direction, even going so far as to point a half forged piece of metal in his direction before tossing it into a nearby quenching trough without losing eye contact. Shenanigans? Blood incident? What exactly did she mean by that? He only knew Niraya by face from the classes they took together, and wasn’t even sure they’d spoken together before now.
“Um. Right. Okay.”
Clearing his throat, the snake Faunus handed over the schematics. The forge was hot, and not altogether too comfortable, but he could manage it as long as he didn’t need to start a fight in here.
“I need parts tempered and machined to these specifications. Do you have components and electronics for weapon crafting, or will those be bought elsewhere?”
As soon as Niraya had taken her attention off him, however, Argent would turn his eyes to Kishka. The look in them said it all, despite his face remaining as impassive as ever - you sure this is a good idea?

KISHKA BURZANOVA
Huh.
Well this was quite unexpected.
Here, she had thought her two closest friends would get along quite well. They were both pretty quiet, easy-going, types, at least from her perspective, but apparently uh. Not. Not at all. She glanced quizzically up at Argent as Niraya laid into him. It was the most aggressive she'd ever seen the fox faunus, honestly, and it surprised her quite a bit. She hadn't even greeted Kishka as she stepped into the shop. What had Argent done to make her so mad? She had just sat there and taken it when that rude bitch was giving her a hard time, but with Argent, she was flinging around red-hot metal and threats?
From his reaction, it seemed this was as much a surprise to him as it was to her- he sort of awkwardly handed off the blueprints to the fired-up foxy forge-worker, then turned to look at her, a look of confusion and uncertainty in his eyes. Well this could have gone better.
But, as first meetings went, they could always be worse. Much, much, worse. Or well. Second meetings, as the case seemed to be. She flashed Argent a reassuring smile and a nod. While she may be crankier than usual for whatever reason, Niraya was good with her steel, and a pretty fast smith. Better quality could not be found in Mistral, she had proudly announced to him when they first began this little project.
Still, though- what had he done to piss her off so much. She decided to just bite the bullet and ask, after enough silence filled the burning-hot room for long enough. "So! Um..." She glanced from her snake-like man to her friend, in part to make sure she wasn't currently about to fling any molten metal at her for speaking up. "It seems you two, eh. Know each other. Already." She angled her head up at Argent, her facial expression very clearly displaying her hesitant curiosity. Hopefully she wasn't poking open wounds here. "So, um... What 'blood incident' is she talking about, Argent? And why do I get the sneaking suspicion that Captain Grimmboner was involved somehow...?"
Oh god.
She knew it. She knew letting her beautiful snake carouse with her shitty, stupid, idiot cousin was a mistake. That damn moron was getting her man in trouble, she just knew it! Sneaky bastard. She would have to beat his ass next time she saw him. Which just added to the ever-growing list of ass-beatings he needed.

Niraya takes a deep breath and calms down. She looks over the blueprints it was an interesting concept. the material requirements were quite specific which was odd. She goes through the stockpile of steel to find the right grade of steel and then to get the amount needed. at this point, Kishka speaks up. Niraya looks over at her with her head tilted curiously what she was going to ask. "yes?" She wanted to know more about the 'blood incident' Niraya sighs. "In class, quite a decent amount of artificial blood was launched at me and my lab partner. I got it pretty badly on the face and my clothes."
Niraya then starts to plan out the metal pieces drawing a wax outline of the various parts slightly larger than the original parts so they can be refined to the proper shape. She then puts the metal in the forge to start heating them up. as she waited she just hummed a little tune to herself. if they were paying close attention niraya's tail would flick to the tune she was humming to herself.
Once the metal was heated she pulls it out and begins refining the shape. each hammer blow moving some metal as oxidized sparks fly out in all directions. watching her work was quite satisfying as she kept a steady pace. with each hammer strike she beings to fold the steel adding strength to it. Every now and then and after each fold, she would heat it back up in the forge. but when she does the fold she scoops some sort of powder onto it which bubbles almost instantly before she completes the fold.

Argent was slightly miffed when the fox Faunus proceeded to ignore his questions about the specifics of the weapon parts and moved straight to the forge, though he was somewhat mollified by the speed with which she was moving. He supposed he would need to get the other parts somewhere else, but that was only tedious, not really difficult. The snake Faunus made a mental note that the Broken Steel Forge was a viable place to get his items forged, but perhaps he would wait until Kishka had free time and would accompany him before coming again. Platinum didn’t seem too enthused by his presence, and he didn’t appreciate being accused of something he was positive hadn’t happened.
Just as the thought had finished crossing his mind, Kishka herself spoke up, looking at him first with curiosity clear on her face before directing her attention over to Platinum, and then back again. Argent gave a small, helpless shrug before Platinum started speaking, which elicited a small frown from him. They worked with artificial blood quite a lot in the earlier days of Doctor Haragitanai‘s classes, and still did today, but he certainly didn’t recall having splashed any on anyone. He wasn’t some sort of savage, after all.
“When, exactly, did you say this was?” he asked, combing his own memory. The days were filled with training and various other classes, but he was certain such an incident would stand out enough to remember it within seconds. And yet, no such recollection existed. Perhaps she had mistaken him for someone else? That would explain the unwarranted hostility - and yet, Argent was reasonably sure that he was fairly unique looking even among the rest of the students at Haven for his combination of height, hair color, and being a Faunus.
Surely there wasn’t someone who looked close enough to him that she could have been mistaken.

KISHKA BURZANOVA
Huh.
So it seemed that the "blood incident" Niraya was so upset about had been a splattering of fake blood in a class? Well, she could certainly see how that might be unpleasant- fake blood stained clothes, and got stuck in hair and just felt slimy and bad on skin. Not to mention, even knowing it was fake, it had to have been a fairly traumatic experience.
But certainly Argent wouldn't have done such a thing, not intentionally, anyways- he was a nice, kind, person. Or at the very least, not actively hostile, like some people Kishka knew (including, at many times, herself.) So she was confused by the entire exchange between him and Niraya, especially considering his reaction, which was one of even greater confusion. He couldn't even remember this event happening? Well that was a bad sign, and very likely something the fox faunus wouldn't appreciate- she seemed especially traumatized by whoever it was that had caused so much trouble.
And here she had hoped this would go well... her boyfriend (well, she was just waiting on him to officiate the relationship, anyways) and her best friend (not that there was much competition. And she wasn't sure how mutual that feeling was...) didn't seem to be getting along well at all. This was off to a terrible start, and only seemed to be getting worse and worse by the minute. What an awkward first impression... Or, well, possibly second impression, actually.
She nodded slowly. raising and lowering her eyebrows with a deep breath. Wow, what a stressful few minutes. She had to fix this, somehow. Which was a skill she did not possess- friendship wasn't a thing she was especially good at, and neither was conflict resolution.
In fact, she tended to cause more conflicts than she resolved...
"I see. Well! When you put it that way, that definitely does sound rather unpleasant. But I don't think Argent would have been involved in something like that- surely, you must have just mistaken him for someone else?" But who at Haven could possibly even come close to resembling Argent's beautiful face, and gorgeous silvery hair? Not a single soul, nobody she could think of looked anything like him.
Nik was tall, but that was where the resemblance stopped, because he had a stupid face that just asked to be punched, and his hair was a gross light grey, not the silver perfection of her man's hair. Plus, he was too stupid to be mistaken for Argent- her man was smart as fuck, he was basically a mathematical genius, and he would never try to taze the roof of a Lightning Dust powered train.
Then again, though... Argent's one flaw was hanging around that hazardous moron too much. It was frankly unhealthy and she worried about him a lot. Maybe Nik had been sitting near Argent when that incident happened? There weren't a whole lot of idiots of his calibre at Haven, after all, aside from maybe the guy with a literal toddler's vocabulary- could never remember his name. Perhaps it was a misunderstanding because Niraya didn't notice the other guy who had splattered the blood, and just assumed Argent had?
She turned to Argent again, raising an eyebrow, and throwing a side eye to the mechanic, silently urging him to explain the situation a little better, and maybe try to clear this up before Niraya got mad and picked up another red hot hunk of steel to jab at him again.

Niraya hammers away at the metal. it was clear she was skilled at her work. when Argent seemed to play dumb about the whole blood incident it angered her and her hammering showed it. she was striking the metal with a great amount of force that sparks were actually flying from the blade. Niraya stops and looks at them. "well you clearly don't recall so either your an incredibly sadistic jerk. or you honestly forgot. either way, I still don't know if it was you or your friend. all I recall is blood flying from your table."
Niraya heats up the blade some more and as she waits she goes back to the blueprint and examines the more complicated parts. "now that I have a chance to look at the complicated parts I can forge them and hook them up. nothing I can't handle. I just didn't want to say anything until I got a better look at it." At this point the metal was hot again and she goes back to hammering at it. sparks flying off of it again as she folds it a few more times.

As opposed to an irrational imbecile blinded by her anger and just looking for a convenient target to take it out on? Threatening someone else without even trying to find out what actually happened, just so you can feel better about yourself?
These were the thoughts that crossed Argent’s mind and were just about on the tip of his tongue - but he bit them back before it had the chance to cross his lips. He was not thrilled about being insulted, and certainly not happy about being blamed for something he had had no part in at all, but Platinum was Kishka’s friend, and a particularly close friend at that. The snake Faunus didn’t want to sour the relationship between the two, and so kept his steadily decreasing opinion of the fox Faunus to himself, the only outward sign of his internal discontent a slight tensing of the muscles in his jaw. Kishka was one of the few friends he had at Haven, even if they had gotten off to a bit of a rocky start, and he didn’t want the responsibility of breaking up one of her friendships on his shoulders, even if said friend was noticeably hostile towards him.
Argent was used to humans latching on to any excuse to find fault with things he did, or blame him for things that he didn’t do. But to have one of his own kind, to have one of his own people do the very same thing-
Not so different, he reflected bitterly. How ironic.
“Sorry that happened to you, but it wasn’t me,” he said, quietly but firmly, golden eyes set in a steady stare. Not that he even remotely thought that the truth would be enough to sway Platinum from her delusional self righteous crusade, but no one could say he didn’t at least try. Kishka’s nonverbal urging certainly did give at least a modicum of motivation to do that, if only for her sake.
“Must have been the other guy. I don’t throw blood at people for fun. And if it was an accident, I would have done my best to help. If none of that happened, then I wasn’t involved.”

Well, it seemed as though Niraya was still especially angry about whatever it was that happened, but at least she was still working her forge. That was a good sign- she had faith in her friend's business-like professionalism, if nothing else. Hell, she'd seen her at least attempt to do work for that asshole in the suit, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that she would still handle Argent's weapon, in spite of whatever negative reaction she held towards him.
She smiled as the fox faunus explained that she could, in fact, handle all of the complex parts of the job. That was something very good to hear. She didn't really have a contingency plan for if Niraya couldn't finish the whole thing, or at least the bulk of it, here. Honestly, she didn't know too many other blacksmiths in general- not unless Argent was willing to try and talk Sanctum's in-house smith into working his steel for him. And that meant going back to Sanctum; not the most pleasant memories, there.
"Sorry that happened to you, but it wasn't me." She glanced beside her, to see Argent's face fixated on Niraya, a stern tone in his soft voice. Oh?
Kishka was suddenly brimming with quiet pride for her favorite person. Granted, she wasn't exactly thrilled that he and her closest friend were off to such a bad start, but she hadn't exactly seen him stand up for himself nearly as well until now. Hell, they only met because he was so terrible at it before. And maybe Niraya wasn't a gang of jerks trying to beat him down for being different, but she was throwing an awful lot of accusations his way, and it was extremely comforting, and fairly satisfying, for her man to speak up and not just lie down and take it, or let her talk his way out of the situation.
He was getting so much better, so fast! At confrontations, at fighting, at everything.
She didn't say anything, she just leaned into his side, and wrapped an arm around his waist, resting her head against his shoulder. It probably didn't seem like much, but he was making important steps. Some day soon, he might even be able to make a successful comeback from one of Deraine's cutting insults. That was a very important skill to have, if he was ever going to help her kick Iron Man's shiny metal ass right through the extremely zappable ceiling.

Niraya was hammering away when Argent said it wasn't him. Niraya stops and looks at him as if judging him. he seemed genuine on this which made Niraya feel bad for accusing him. Niraya goes back to hamming away it was clear the anger had left her. as she hammers away she was thinking of a way to make amends for accusing him like that. she just quietly hammers away. the metal being folded one last time before she finalizes the blade.
The folding of the metal gives it the strength to withstand heavy blows. Once the blade was done she gets to work on the other pieces needed. whatever needed to be forged she would hammer out in metal taking less time on it than the blade in comparison. she works slowly and carefully to ensure each and every part was made to specifications.

Argent didn’t think that that would work - at all. To be quite honest, he’d raised a disbelieving eyebrow ever so slightly when after a long, searching look, Platinum had turned back to the forge and appeared not to pursue the matter further. That had been unexpected in every sense of the word, and for more than a few minutes the snake Faunus had been on guard, waiting for a rebuttal or denial or another accusation that never came. Even Kishka’s quiet assurance didn’t cause him to let that guard down - not immediately, at least, but he did nudge against her a little bit in acknowledgement - and more than a little bit of gratitude. She was a good friend, and he appreciated the effort she’d gone through in first designing the weapon and now helping him to get it built. Even if there were little snags along the way.
After a while, and realizing that Platinum, miraculously, did in fact have the capacity in her to not threaten him again, Argent slowly relaxed, looking at the heated metals in the fires of the forge being shaped into his new weapon upon the anvil. He could see shapes he recognized here and there, but as a whole the process was generally beyond him. It was also fairly slow, but he had expected that. The guy at the reception came in a few times to talk to Platinum, and also offered to let them both take a seat in the waiting rooms outside, an offer which Argent didn’t take for the most part, as part of his acclimatization plans and a desire to watch his weapon being created. A spare pair of stools were pulled out for him and Kishka while they waited, which he appreciated a lot and thanked the other for.
It was weirdly comforting, at least to the snake Faunus, to see Platinum spending so much time poring over his specifications. At least he didn’t have to worry about the resulting weapon snapping on him and taking his arm with it or anything. Because that would suck.
A lot.

KISHKA BURZANOVA
Kishka smiled to herself as her gesture was reciprocated by Argent, nudging her back, as she leaned against him. She could almost feel some of the tension leave his body as Niraya seemingly accepted his explanation. That made her happy, with a wash of relief over her. Had he not gotten along with Niraya, she had no idea what she would have done- friends were hard to come by for someone as particular with her friendships as herself, and she hadn't wanted to risk one.
Soon enough, a pair of stools appeared from the waiting room for her and her snake. She took a seat, with a nod of gratitude to the man who brought it, and scooted it a little closer to Argent's stool, before resuming her previous position, leaning her head against his shoulder, as if to say he was hers- like a pet cat claiming its owner and sitting vigilantly to defend him from any stray alley cats he might run into. A silly picture, but an accurate one; she was more than a little possessive over Argent, and had been for a time, ever since she first started to open up to him more, over the course of their six month friendship. Her head nestled against him, and she shifted until she was comfortable, staring into the hot metal being worked.
It was impressive, frankly- her friend was a really talented metalworker, and it showed here, as she went through the process of hammering out the steel. It was incredible, witnessing the creation of a new weapon- watching her work on Lucky 13 had been interesting, but paled in comparison to the day her umbrella was forged and assembled, before her very eyes. A feeling she had never anticipated she might feel again- she was glad Argent had accepted her somewhat forceful suggestions and assistance in the creation of the new weapon. Amidst the flickering flames and red hot embers, she could see the pieces that would eventually become Ouroboros taking shape, and it was like the day her weapon was built, all over again. Like magic...
"It's so cool seeing the design come to life like that... You really do work wonders, Niraya." She shot her friend a soft smile, appreciative of the work she was putting into Argent's weapon. She was definitely going to be cutting into Kishka's pockets here, but great work demanded great payment. So it was no issue for her- it was one of several early birthday gifts she had planned for Argent. Even though, unfortunately, they were supposed to be at a trainee initiation for his actual big day... Lame. Stupid Academy, ruining her plans.

Niraya Platinum When snow falls, Nature listens.

Niraya worked diligently to get all the pieces made. when the first blade was roughly forged it needed to be ground to shape and sharpened before the blade was finished she sticks it in the annealing furnace. it was a smaller furnace to the forge it was meant to ease the stresses out of the steal that builds up when forging with it. She gets to work on the second blade doing the same thing as the first folding the metal a few times to build up strength in the blade. it takes her another hour to finish the second blade but she puts it in the annealing oven to relieve its stress.
while it slowly did its thing Niraya goes over to the blueprint and starts to make a small list to grab from the back room. She walks past Argent and Kishka and gets the supplies she needed. as she returns with the stuff needed she was also drinking from a bottle of water. "You two need some water before I get back to work?" if they accepted Niraya would pull out two bottles of water for them. She heads back to her table and puts the stuff she pulled out on it and beings to work getting everything else ready for finalization.
