Semblance Name
Rank of Semblance: C
Semblance Type: Transformation
Primary Category: Combatants (+3)
Secondary Category: Obstacle (+2)
One Sentence Summary of Semblance: When certain conditions are met, Jackie transforms into her 'big sister', Heidi, who possesses superhuman strength, durability, speed, and an especially bad attitude.
Description of Semblance: Though even Jackie doesn't wholly understand the mechanics of her semblance, it seems clear that it's purpose is to allow her to overcome challenges which she would normally find overwhelming. It accomplishes this feat by making her exponentially stronger and tougher, all while freeing her from anything so much as resembling doubt or hesitation. The change is so drastic, in fact, that it is enough to render Jackie nearly unrecognizable. Her muscles swell, her senses sharpen, and her expression hardens, all while her attitude and posture fill with a sense of vitality and confidence. Eyes, usually a soft hazel, begin to burn like molten gold, while her skin loses its unhealthy pallor to instead glow like beaten bronze. Even her hair, usually lank and thin, grows full-bodied and voluminous, more given to flowing in the wind than hanging down before her face, as it typically does. The end result is an almost complete inversion of Jackie's normal appearance, such that even those who know her well may not think she is the same person. Then again, given the ultimate effects of her transformation, perhaps that's not so surprising. After all, while her physical changes are certainly pronounced, they can hardly hold a candle to the other effects her semblance has. Namely, those it has on her physical capabilities.
While 'transformed', Jackie's overall physicality either matches or far exceeds that of her peers. Though she gains comparatively little muscle mass from the transformation, the increase in her physical strength is titanic, rendering her capable of lifting as much as a quarter tonne over her head. Her aura becomes equally resilient, able to safely deflect or absorb most attacks without issue, and dull those which might shatter or even outright kill Jackie in her mundane form. Her speed is similarly enhanced, her boundless strides and powerful jumps serving to make her a blur on the battlefield, capable of running a hundred meters in a little over three seconds.
With all that said, it may come as a surprise that Jackie lives in near constant dread of her own semblance. For, while Chimera does provide a substantial boost in both power and confidence, its most apparent effect is also its greatest drawback...
Drawbacks of Semblance: That drawback's name is Heidi. Strong, confident, conventionally attractive and wickedly effective in a fight, Heidi is the epitome of everything Jackie wishes she could be. She is also arrogant, petty, and pragmatic to a sociopathic degree. So far as she is concerned, nothing matters more than her own comfort, pleasure, and continued survival, and she will meet any thing which threatens them with disproportionate levels of violence and aggression, even other humans. This categorical lack of restraint has lead to acts of wanton carnality, cruelty, and outright destruction, any one of which would be fit to drive Jackie into a life of anonymity for guilt and shame, if only Heidi would allow it.
Chimera's drawbacks are twofold, for Jackie has no real control over when she transforms. The only consistent method for bringing about the change is the taste of blood, but there have been plenty of other markedly less consistent causes over the years, just as there have been times when Heidi has taken control without any apparent cause what-so-ever.
Neither one has any true awareness while the other is in control, experiencing the others actions as if in a dream, if they remember them at all. This has served to make Jackie's life extremely unpredictable, fraught with black periods of which she has no memory, when her borderline 'big sister' has been in control. Compounding this problem is Heidi's demonstrability to, should she exercise restraint and not use her exceptional abilities, maintain the transformation almost indefinitely. This, combined with the two's toxic and adversarial relationship, has resulted in episodes lasting days and even weeks.
Never quite knowing what Heidi might do if given the reigns, Jackie is extremely reticent to do so, even by the one means which seemingly always works.
No matter what method is used to hand Heidi the reigns, the same constraints always apply. While there is no apparent limit to how long she can remain in control, Heidi does not have free reign of her abilities, to use them as she pleases. Mechanically, she can only use the benefits of Chimera for four posts at a time, and requires a three posts of rest in between each use. She can, however, use these benefits multiple times per transformation, though each usage strains her hold on the reigns. Should she use her abilities too often, or should her aura be shattered, Heidi immediately reverts back to Jackie.
Following such a reversion, Jackie will regain control but be confused and disoriented, with no knowledge of where she is or what has happened since Heidi took control. She will also be unable to transform again until her aura recovers, no matter what method she employs.
Diprosopus
Rank of Weapon(s): F
Category: Combatants (+0)
Description of Weapons(s): There's nothing very remarkable about Diprosopus, outside of its mouthful of a name. Its polished wood grip attaches to twin barrels, affixed in an over under design, with a simple muzzle break on one end and a single hammer at the other. A sleek, lightweight pistol, it is capable of chambering only two cartridges at a time, and does so via a break system between handle and barrels. It incorporates a double and single firing action, but is otherwise unremarkable in its function. Light enough to be carried in one hand, it can be aimed and fired with relative alacrity, though its comparatively small cartridges don't pack much of a punch. Its compact size and ease of use make it the ideal firearm for Jackie, who prefers to remain mobile in combat

Name of Combat Ability: Calculated Trajectory (Marksmanship)
Rank of Combat Ability: F
Category: Combatant (+0)

Name of Combat Ability: Gravity Round
Rank of Combat Ability: F
Category: Obstacle (+0)
Description of Combat Ability: Jackie carries two 'gravity rounds' on her person. Name of Combat Ability: Ice Round
Rank of Combat Ability: F
Category: Combatants (+0)

Character Information
Vitals
Primary Drive: To Jackie, becoming a huntress is a means to minimize the damage she might do if left to her own devices. The free education and opportunity to advance her studies also appeals to her, but her primary motivation is simply to find some way to keep herself in check.
Fears: Jackie is terrified that she might go too far and do something irreversible. This fear dominates her life, and is her primary motivation for pursuing huntsmen training in lieu of a more erudite life-path. She frequently has nightmares about regaining control, only to find she's done something monstrous and unforgiveable. These nightmares keep her up at night.
Style of Self-Expression: Jackie is quiet, gentle, neurotic, and repressed. She desperately tries to play the part of the good girl, doing everything that is expected of her without making a fuss. Stripped of her neurosis, she's inquisitive and even passionate, especially when it comes to study and learning, but her social anxiety and difficulty chartering complex interpersonal landscapes often hobbles her efforts at self betterment. This is not helped by her fundamental self-doubt and ingrained pessimism. She wants to be optimistic and to expect the best of others, but can see only the worst parts of herself.
Most Important Thing: Jackie's personal well being trumps all else. Though she has lofty expectations of herself, of others, and of society, her moral compass breaks down when she's the one being threatened. She struggles to put the needs of others before her own, even when it means playing with powers she knows she can't predict or control. When push comes to shove, Jackie will do whatever is necessary to save herself, no matter how many people might get hurt in the process.

Heidi tolerates huntsman training because of the opportunities it provides to demonstrate how incredible she is. There's no denying the status and acclaim afforded to prolific huntsmen, and she intends to get hers by any means necessary. The fact that fighting the Grimm also allows frequent opportunities to test herself is a welcome bonus, but her ultimate goal is recognition for her phenomenal abilities. She hopes this recognition will prove once and for all that she's not merely some partitioned sliver of her little sister's psyche.

Heidi is afraid she's not real.

Heidi is loud, proud, and forthright in her approach to life. She will pursue her desires with neither shame nor remorse, and will use whatever methods she can think of to achieve her goals. While not as inventive as her little sister, Heidi is just as intelligent; though she favors less circuitous means of getting what she wants, she is just as able to gain her wants through cunning. Heidi chaffs at being held back, and hates to be told what she can't do, and will often break rules just to prove they have no power over her. She views others as tightly constrained by societal pressure and social expectations, and makes a big show of how little such things affect her. While she prefers positive attention, especially the adoration of others, she will accept negative attention, such as fear or hatred. To her, being loved is less important than being recognized and taken seriously.

Heidi will do whatever is necessary to protect Jackie. Despite the tension of their existence, Heidi recognizes that she is most vulnerable when Jackie is in control, and so she does whatever it takes to ensure no harm comes to her little sister. No step is too far, no force too excessive, to ensure that Jackie remains safe when Heidi is not in control of their body.
History Freeform
Jackie's life has been rocky one. Born in Mantle, her parents were both acclaimed and skilled huntsman, the latest in a long line of skilled and acclaimed huntsman. A quiet girl by nature, Jackie showed herself to be sensitive and inquisitive, both fascinated and frightened by the dangers that lay upon the fringes of civilization. It was these dangers which her parents frequently alluded to in an attempt to impress upon her both the perilous nature of the outside world and that world's need for hunters. Unlike her brother, Jackie never entertained the thought of becoming a huntress, like her ancestors before her, for her's was a gentle and timid nature, ill suited to the rigors of a huntsman's life. She was content for a quiet and peaceful existence, where the hardship and fighting were left to those more capable than her. Seeing their daughter's inclination, Jackie's parents raised her gently, or at least as gently as could be expected from a family with a pedigree such as theirs.
It was when Jackie started school that the first cracks formed beneath the quiet life she wanted for herself. Having not inherited her mother's comely aspect, nor her father's confidence and self respect, Jackie was an awkward child, one easily frightened and even more easily coerced. Adding to her difficulties was a certain precociousness in her character which set her apart from children her own age. She found it difficult to connect with others, though not for want of trying. By the time she first started school, Jackie had only managed to make and retain a single friend who was not her little brother. Things only grew harder from there. Jackie found it hard to relate to her peers, and they found it equally hard to relate to her. To them, she was a cravenly and brattish know-it-all, while she found them brutish and incongruous in their behaviors. Naturally, she was singled out as different and, lacking the eloquence to use such novelty to her advantage, Jackie was frequently bullied for her eccentricities. This set the tone for Jackie's adolescence, wherein she found herself incapable of excelling in any area which her peers might valued, and the one field where she was exceptional managed only to earn her scorn and derision. Naturally, she grew even more reluctant and withdrawn, and would seldom even interact with children her own age if she was not forced to do so.
Seeing their daughter's isolation, Jackie's parents naturally tried to intervene. They made her join sports teams and clubs, set up play-dates and just generally tried to break Jackie out of her shell. Their efforts were in vain, however, as it seemed that everything and anything could be a source of anxiety and dread for the awkward girl. She was too infirm and frail for organized sports, and her strange ideas and precocious tendencies proved just as great a barrier to friendship as they ever had. Clubs turned out to be even more disastrous for, though technical and intelligent, she was even more self-defeating in areas where her specific talents might have let her excel. Jackie shied from every opportunity to set herself apart from her peers, and was ever fearful of drawing attention to herself. Her anxieties were made all the worse by the presence of her brother who, despite being a scant ten months her junior, showed great promise and confidence in just about every area where she was lacking. She grew used to living in his shadow, while at the same time seeking him and him alone for comfort, as he was the only child her age who seemed to understand her. Then, just after she turned twelve, Jackie's life took a strange turn.
There came times where, when Jackie was put under especial pressure, that her personality would undergo a fundamental transformation. These shifts, rare at first, were often characterized by bouts of sudden and vicious aggression, where the usually timid Jackie would lash out violently against whatever had caused the episode to begin with. These attacks were as brief as they were frighteningly sudden, and would leave Jackie bemused and disorientated after, with no memory of what had occurred while she was enraged. There came other instances, less pronounced though still frightening for the young Jackie, where she did not feel as though she were in complete control of her body. Powerful urges would wash over her, urges wholly at odd with her usual temperament. Unsurprisingly, her burgeoning instability drove her peers further away. She earned a reputation for not simply being a know-it-all coward, but one who would violently assault others for the most inexplicable reasons.
It was also around this time that Jackie started talking to herself, holding long and elaborate conversations with some unseen person when she thought nobody was listening. Naturally, her parents got her the help she so obviously needed, and months of therapy and psychiatric medications followed. The treatment was difficult, with Jackie often being uncooperative and, on a few memorable occasions, outright hostile to her parents and the psychiatrists trying to help her. She outright denied the existence of any other person, invisible or imaginary, and tried to attribute her episodes to losing her temper. Then her brother manifested his semblance for the first time, and revealed it to be not unlike their fathers, driving him into an intoxicating rage that lent him incredible strength at the loss of all control.
Then Jackie's story changed. She claimed it was her semblance, that she must have tapped into it on accident, trying to defend herself. Obviously, she reasoned, it would be best for her to receive Huntsman training like her brother, that she might learn to better control it. Despite misgivings and not wholly believing her, Jackie's parents relented and, for a time, her outbursts were less frequent. She expressed little enthusiasm for the training that followed. Her aura was comparatively weak and her control spotty at best. However, whenever she was called upon to actually spar or demonstrate her abilities, Jackie would demonstrate startling strength and martial ability, just as though someone who actually enjoyed fighting had taken her place.
Jackie grew increasingly withdrawn over this period. She actively resented the praise of her abilities, even while seeming to glory hound during exercises that called for practical participation of any kind. She also grew ever more wild whenever she used her semblance, more aggressive, less restrained, and actively hateful of those around her. It was only a matter of time before she went too far.
When she finally did, the results were monstrous, and it was thanks only to the Atlas Academy faculty that Jackie's erstwhile victim only needed to be hospitalized. It was the final straw. In a school where discipline was paramount, Jackie and her violent outbursts were unwelcome, and she was soon expelled.
Jackie had seemed almost relieved by the news.
Two years later however, Jackie applied once more for huntsman training, a decision which shocked her family. Atlas would not have her, nor would Beacon, nor even Shade. She was tainted goods, and her violent reputation preceded her. Only Haven, out of desperation, was willing to even consider her application.
Since enrolling, Jackie has tried to remain unnoticed by her classmates, distinguishing herself only in combat exercises, and only rarely at that. More often, she is a wallflower, unremarkable and unnoticed, save for how inordinately quiet and withdrawn she has become. Some rumors have circulated about her, and about what she did when she was at Atlas, but mostly she has gone unnoticed by the student body.
Yet new rumors have begun to circulate, coinciding with Jackie's renewed reluctance to use her semblance. Rumors regarding a tall woman with lustrous brown hair and blazing golden eyes...
