Gonna go ahead and spend that new cash too.
Between 278 XP she already had, the 250 from Longevity EP, and the bits from graded threads in submissions, she should be at 549 XP currently. Spending 425 on E -> D Marks, and another 100 on F -> E (and reflavored) Scheming/Tactics.

Rank of Combat Ability: D

Which should come in handy, next time she has to protect her boyfriend from giant cats.

Updating to new template, and upgrading one skill. Can post the skill upgrade separately, if needed, but I figure including it in the full template probably just makes things easier + makes more sense.
Skill Upgrade:
E -> D Speed: 425 XP
596 - 425 = 171 XP remaining

Rank of Semblance: E
One Sentence Summary of Semblance: Kishka has the Manipulator semblance of Displacement which allows the wielder to telekinetically move a single item that she has recently touched.
Description of Semblance: Her displacement works based on touch-activation; she has to physically touch the (generally, relatively small) object she is trying to move first, but once she has touched it, she can move it around mentally up to approximately the length of a telephone pole (10-12 meters.) The objects she moves can be up to the maximum lifting weight for her Semblance rank, which is currently 140-150 kg, though the heavier the object, the more Aura it burns.
Drawbacks of Semblance: She can only move one object at a time, and has to touch it to activate her semblance. In addition, to move an object that is being touched by another, unwilling, person, she has to concentrate and take significantly more time to move the object, especially if her goal is to move the object stealthily, without them noticing. That means sustained touch contact with the object, prior to attempting to move it. Of course, this isn't too useful for combat, because most people would notice someone clinging to their gun for several minutes, and even if she did manage to move it away, they could always just snatch it out of the air again, and she'd have to start the process all over. And in addition, as a Manipulator-Semblance user, Displacement burns Aura, burning more depending on the weight of the object being moved.
Rank of Weapon(s): D
Description of Weapons(s): Lucky Thirteen appears to be a fairly innocuous black umbrella, simple, sleek, and effective at stopping the rain. But what may not be obvious at first glance is that this umbrella is made with a thick, tear-resistant, fabric, and a hardened steel handle, which make it much more practical as a weapon than one would think when looking at it. The underlining of the umbrella itself is also made similarly to chainmail armor, giving it some defensive properties against smaller, slower moving projectiles, and melee attacks, though not enough for her to use her umbrella as a full-on shield (that would just be silly; imagine, an umbrella being used to block explosions and flaming swords? Ha!)
Lucky Thirteen also comes equipped with a hefty ranged option- the tip of the umbrella is a barrel, and the grip hides a trigger. However, it isn't a gun, but a cannon, firing Dust ammunition- most often, fire dust, if available. It is also capable of firing small lead cannonballs, though Dust is preferable, as it is lighter- she already has to haul the damn thing around, and it is heavy enough without being loaded up with lead. (Note; Dust Ammo, outside of threads with allotted Dust resources, is entirely used for flavor, with no mechanical benefits.) As of late, it has been greatly improved following a tune-up at Niraya's forge, and a good deal of training with it has increased its damage-dealing capabilities.

Name of Combat Ability: Lightning (Speed)
Rank of Combat Ability: D
Description of Combat Ability: Thanks to a certain magnetic asshole, Kishka has been working on building up her speed in combat, and thanks to a scaly boi in need of her help, she has thus far worked her way up to a gazelle-like top speed of 70 km/h. Suck it, Bel.
Name of Combat Ability: Indestructible (Durability)
Rank of Combat Ability: D
Description of Combat Ability: Having trained her aura's durability so much in combat, Kishka has gotten a pretty good handle on using it to defend herself, being able to withstand hits that could rend thin metals, like bronze, with much greater ease.
Primary Drive: Kishka is driven largely by her hyper-competitive nature, and specifically, by her significantly more successful twin. She's always doing whatever she can to attain greater and greater heights, sacrificing time, money, health, and sometimes even personal relationships in order to become a stronger and better Huntress than her sister. This competitive nature often puts her at odds with both like-minded people, and those on the opposite end of the spectrum, who would rather her leave them alone and stop trying to pick fights. Ultimately, she intends to become the best possible Huntress, in order to prove that hard work and dedication mean more than being born with a lucky Semblance like Hard Light, Gravity, or Polarity.
Fears: Kishka's single-biggest fear is, and has always been, realizing her own inadequacy. She's terrified that one day she will achieve everything she can possibly achieve, and it won't be enough to even close the gap between her and Bel, let alone surpass her. She's afraid, ultimately, that she might be wrong, and that her entire life could have been for nothing. It's a fear that keeps her up at night, one that she can't find a coping mechanism for that works, aside from trying to avoid the subject entirely. And for someone whose entire life, and to an extent, personality, is built around winning and being the best, there is hardly a worse thing that she could imagine; it isn't losing that she's scared of. It's finding out that the game was rigged against her, the whole time.
On a different note, she is scared of cockroaches, and ever since Rochdale, she's been a bit of a germaphobe.
Style of Self-Expression: Loud and angry. That's the general impression many people have gotten of Kishka in the past, and it's fitting. Outgoing enough, as needed, but she generally prefers solitude or more intimate time spent with one or two close friends. Exudes confidence in everything that she does, to the point of arrogance, but that is just a mask she wears to hide the deep-rooted insecurities and inferiority complex underneath. In a fight, she's cold and calculating, until faced with a challenge; that's the only time when one might see Kishka open up and express her true feelings. When she's enjoying a fight, she's excited, a little manic, and actually open about her insecurities and character flaws. Overall, she's hotheaded and tries to come off as a lot more coldhearted than she really is. Quick to anger, and vengeful when wronged, but she still feels the need to try and inflict her personal outlook on life onto other people, in order to make them better and stronger- often without asking what the other person wants first. Socioeconomically, she's also a very different person at Haven than she is when dealing with the intricate ins and outs of high society. She is more than capable of presenting herself as a proper young noblewoman when the situation calls for it.
Most Important Thing: Lately, Kishka has been struggling with getting a little too soft when it comes to Argent and Holly; both of them matter greatly to her, and she would do anything for either of them, even at the expense of her own dreams; when Argent chose to save Carmim during Rochdale, she went along with his plan, knowing fully that there was a very good chance that she might not survive; and when it came time to register for the Vytal Festival, something incredibly important for her to win, she didn't reconsider having Holly on her team, even knowing that Holly was a liability to her odds of winning. The two of them, like no one else can, bring out a softer side of her that cares more about them, than about her conquest mission.
Kishka was born to a fairly wealthy family in Mistral, the younger of premium liquor distillers, Tatiana and Vasily Burzanov's, twin daughters. Her sister, Bel, was born nine minutes before her, but if you asked Kishka (you really shouldn't) those nine minutes sealed her fate in this world. For you see, her sister was always the star, the favorite, in the limelight, and this was ultimately the reason behind all of Kishka's childhood insecurities, which would later shape her into the person she would become as a teenager.
One day, walking through town with their parents, the girls stumbled upon a comic book store, and that was the day they both knew they wanted to become Huntresses. They read all the best comics- everything from "The Adventures of Pumpkin Pete," to "Punch Goblin and Kick Lad," to such classics as "Captain Remnant vs A Big Space Rock," and "WonderZwei." They couldn't get enough of them, and soon, the comics invaded their childhood games.
This would ultimately be the start to Kishka's journey towards villainous aesthetics and rebellious mischief; for their eighth birthday, their parents gifted them with brand new comic book costumes- one hero costume, and a villain costume. Bel suggested they play Superhero and Supervillain, and immediately called dibs on being the hero. Poor, poor, Kishka wanted to be the hero too, but there could only be one hero, and one villain, so she ended up being the bad guy who was inevitably trounced by her twin sister. And it didn't stop there- every time they played, Bel was always the hero.
One day, she had enough- she decided, if she couldn't be the hero, she'd be the villain. Oh yeah, she would become the best, most powerful villain there ever was, and she would kick her sister's ass, once and for all!
She was very ambitious for a ten year old.
With her mind set on villainy, she plotted to do something really uh. Real bad. Very bad! The baddest! It took her a while to come up with a plan, okay? Plans are hard. Suddenly, it occurred to her- she would steal her sister's hero costume. Yeah! Then SHE could be the he- err... Then uh, nobody could be the hero!! Yeah, that sounded better and more wicked. And so, she snuck into her sister's room one day, and grabbed it. But Bel came into the room and saw her! Then they were fighting, as siblings do, and Kishka reached for a shoe, only to watch as it whizzed out of her hand, and clocked her twin in the face, allowing her to grab the costume.
Her smug satisfaction and excitement at discovering her Semblance was short-lived, because her sister punched her in the face and took the costume back.
From that day on, they were nemeses. Destined to one day confront one another in a big display of sibling rivalry and comic book flair. To their parents, it just seemed like they were really passionate about their weird comic book hobby. But to the two of them? It was war. Brutal, bloody, merciless war.
Every little ounce of mischief Kishka managed to pull off in the neighborhood was thwarted by her sister's cunning. And every good deed Bel did for her friends was undone by Kishka's dastardly schemes. It at one point escalated into a full on prank war.
Poor cousin Nik was caught in the crossfire. Legend says he still shudders at the sight of raw spaghetti noodles and watermelons in close proximity...
That all went on for a long time, and frankly, their rivalry did them both some good. At fifteen (they started late, because of their birthdays falling at a weird time or something), they both enrolled at Mistral's most prestigious combat school, Sanctum Academy, and both made it in. While Bel exceeded at all the generic heroic stuff there, Kishka was much better at the actual fighting side of things, and made a splash with her mind for tactics and strategy. Of course, in spite of her outstanding academic skills, she was always getting into trouble by being the absolute worst.
Her start at Sanctum was rocky at best, as she came in and immediately began bullying her peers around, in an attempt to make a name for herself from the first day. It was pretty successful, actually, when she met some huge muscly girl her first week there, and beat her so bad she cried, in front of everyone, in a sparring match. Her second year was spent a little more lowkey, once she realized it was hard to make friends if everyone was scared of you, and because she got in so many fights, she was held back a year, but she still spent the whole year messing with Bel and her friends. Which ended with her, once again, being held back, and this time, threatened with expulsion if she stepped out of line again. So for the next two years, having already repeated her first year twice, she was on her best behavior, as she switched gears from angry and aggressive as hell, to bitter and brooding. Sometime in her last year, the Fall took place, and she was left completely dumbfounded by the death of so many of her former classmates, including Cressida Fox, the genius prodigy who even Bel couldn't stand up to.
Eventually, despite being held back twice on account of behavioral issues, she graduated from Sanctum and was accepted into Haven Academy, on one condition- her first year, she would be on behavioral probation, just to make sure she didn't get into much trouble. This would of course entail quite a few appointments with the counselor, and the school's other staff intended to handle less well-behaved students. Luckily for her, though, Haven was in need of students, regardless of their
Bel, of course, being a total chickenshit loser, scared of Cressida's footsteps, applied, and was accepted into Beacon, two years earlier. Because of course she was.
But, what mattered most to her, was that she got in, in the first place. Haven would be the perfect place to hone her skills, and then, when the time was right- bam! She was going to knock her sister down, right off her pedestal.
Flash forward to her first few months at Haven, and she was still angry and brooding, but quickly found that a group of asshole students were running around, bullying faunus classmates. As a former bully, or hell, a current bully, she couldn't help but find their actions completely reprehensible- she was a bully, yeah, but she bullied up the food chain. Not down, and not beating people up in groups. She put a stop to them, and along the way, met Argent Steele, who she decided needed her help more than he'd admit. So she trained him, over many months, until he was only just trailing behind her.
Later on, while he was away on the Argus Limited, she was in trouble for a stupid prank (which put a stop to her stupid pranks, of course), and was forced to work guard duty with three of the worst losers she had ever had the great displeasure of working with. Two of them faded into obscurity, but Aegle Verdant stuck in her mind like a sore thumb, from the moment she first witnessed the kid try to run from a single Beowolf. She made it her mission, from that day on, to force Aegle to grow, like she'd done with Argent before her, but in the end, all she really accomplished was making an enemy she'd come to regret.
Midterms were next, and she accomplished her tasks easily enough, meeting Holly Hock, who'd become one of her best friends, and finishing the day quite nicely by stargazing with Argent, where they confirmed their relationship that was essentially already there, just unspoken up to that point.
And after that, it was the team leader announcement, and the Draft. In a completely unexpected turn of events, against all of her careful and methodical planning, Aegle chose her for Red Class, and forced Argent into Green, separating them, and deciding that she would be stuck with the class full of rejects and losers for the rest of her time at the Academy. Pissed off, she had a meltdown that trashed her room, and culminated in her entry to the Vytal Exhibition Qualifiers, seated in an armchair to fight Aegle. Too angry to think straight, and critically underestimating her opponent, she lost in the most humiliating defeat imaginable, against someone who she could have easily beaten.
Rochdale came next, after a long period of cooling down and trying to recover from her embarrassment. Having Holly and Argent present there helped considerably, though she still wasn't able to prevent two of the worst students at the academy from fucking everything up. What she did do, though, was at least ensure that they could hold the walls as best as possible, tactically placing her crash-course militia to minimize casualties and maximize coverage. Her group's wall held the longest, before eventually coming down, leaving her to help plan the attacks on the two biggest threats in the area, before rushing off to stop a swarm of Ravagers from murdering any more civilians. Then, of course, Fuckup Number One went down fighting a pack of Sabyrs, nearly getting Argent killed too, before Kishka could come to his aid.
They made it out alive, but only barely, as she and Argent cut down a lot more civilians than she would like to recount, in order to get on the airship and escape. Returning to Haven was a relief, and she spent the next few weeks trying to help Argent and Holly cope with their own emotional responses to the massacre, while preparing for the Vytal Festival.
Which came up pretty soon on the heels of Rochdale- she had her team together, and they kicked ass through the 4v4, leaving her to face off against Aegle in the 2v2, and then against the winner of BCSN vs HARP in the first year finals.
She didn't win the tournament, of course, but her resolve was hardened, and she came away from the experience ready to push forward and keep going.
After spending the summer break in Atlas with her family, bored out of her mind, she has returned to the Academy, attempting to turn over a new leaf and take up the mantle Colton left behind when he left the school, as the strongest and best prepared fighter at Haven.
