Qiu'li made a mental note to be more sparse with the paint next time, it was her property for one, and he simply used an excess. He nodded slowly. "I will try avoiding using excess in future, then." He said as he stood up to watch her shake the can. The rattling of the ball inside intrigued him as she stowed it away for future use, most likely sometime later. His guess was right when she commented on how she was going to keep going. Huh. Perhaps she wanted to practice her art more? Though it looked so nice, how does one improve from that? Wait, no, that was a foolish thing to think. If there was something he knew, it was that there is always room to improve. To shape and to create his own. The Shuubari, he recalled. The raven-haired man tilted his head in confusion upon the mention of Holly. Oh- right, that series of back-and-forths between them on the message board. He recalled seeing that, but didn't really care for it that much since he didn't know either of them at the time. Well, it seems like that much is changed since now he knows both of them.

Well, not like he had any reason to interject between them. He wasn't particularly concerned with what went between them, nor did he have any intention to. He would be pretty upset if someone had interjected between his battle with Nikolas, less so with Colton, but regardless, it was her battle. At the very least, she was thankful for his presence, which was something that he seldom received to begin with. If anything, he should be thankful to her. This conversation broadened his mind just a bit more, and now he saw things from a different, more colorful light. As he gazed up at his vibrantly pink hand-print, Qiu'li nodded to Nasrin while glancing over at the direction of the Academy. He retracted his staff into its tonfa form, leaving behind a visible pink hand-print on it before taking a step out towards the alleyways. "May the Spirits safely guide you towards the path which you tread." He said as he began to turn, to return to what felt like the outer world. It was strange- it was like this place was a smaller world of it's own, hidden away. There was something he liked about it, though he couldn't quite put his finger on it. Well, not like he was in a rush. He had come to realize that things take time, and those that are diligent in their work would produce results that were as beautiful as flowers.

While Nasrin would probably never see the text that was written above the hand-print, should she ever ask him about what it said in the future, Qiu'li would one day smile at her, nod his head, and say 'I exist'. As a way to express not only his desire to be acknowledged, but to also represent Nasrin's signature color that would remain for so long as the building remained standing.
