Combat & Inventory
Muting Touch
Rank of Semblance: E
Semblance Type: Physical Boost
One Sentence Summary of Semblance: Pyre has the Physical Boost semblance of Muting Touch which allows the user to dampen the noise emanating from themselves and several objects
Description of Semblance: Pyre utilizes his hands to completely mask an object and or the user's ability to project sound. This can be done with up to three items. This is indefinite but steadily drains aura until the semblance is refocused on a new target. The object or user has to be of E weight or below. His hands do not have to maintain contact with the item/ user for the effect to take place so long as the user remains within the effective range of approximately the length of a telephone pole (10-12m).
Drawbacks of Semblance: Pyre can only mute up to three objects at a time, any more than that and the aura drain would be too fast. If used too much, Pyre's hands begin to ache. Using this ability on large objects responsible for more sound drains his aura faster. This also drains aura at a steady pace.
Happy and Go Lucky
Rank of Weapon(s): E
Description of Weapons(s): Happy and Go luck are a paired set of pistol and serrated knife. Both of them don’t have any hidden features but they compensate for this by their simplicity and effectiveness. Happy is a black combat pistol, designed for military use but often seen in the hands of civilians it has been extensively modified to provide better accuracy than the standard model by a contact of Pyre’s however, the engraving was all his own work. This gun has been with him since he first started his job and the words along the barrel represent Pyre’s motto.
“By right of strength alone do I rule”
Go Lucky is a serrated combat knife. Not Pyre’s originally, he stole it from an associate of his before they died. The knife however seems perfectly suited to Pyre’s aggressive style of combat. It is short and was designed to cut into flesh and cause wounds deep inside its targets. Pyre took to this weapon readily and carries it in a sheath on his leg always.

Biography
Personality/History Freeform Born to a loving family in the outskirts of Mistral, Pyre always felt the world owed him something. Even as a child he wanted more than he had. This greed kept him going through school even though he didn’t much care for proper schooling. It was beneath him as so much else was. His family life was as caring as could be but Pyre detested them. They didn’t share his greed or his lust for power. They were gnats. Insignificant in the scheme of things and not even trying to climb upwards. They could never- would never- be anything better than what they were. Pyre would be better than that and at the age of seventeen he left home to find himself a job and the power and status he craved.
It did not come. He could only find himself menial jobs. He had not status and nothing to be proud of. So for Pyre, it was only natural to do something he used to do as a child. Steal and sell. He’d found himself a job at a pharmacy and the aging owner didn’t realise he was stealing prescription medication to sell on the side. Until his son came into the picture. Pyre knew his type. Too good to let someone climb, wanted to drag someone down with them.
And drag he did as when the son caught Pyre he called law enforcement immediately. He wasn’t sentenced too harshly but when that sentence was passed, Pyre felt a rage build within him. If he could not climb legally then he’d do what he’d been doing before. Luckily enough he’d get his chance. Selling those prescription medications had put him into contact with a small gang’s leader. Adalwolf. Pyre respected him. Even admired him. They were alike. Both climbers. So when Adalwolf asked him to do some odd jobs after he served his sentence Pyre couldn’t say yes fast enough. Time went by and the jobs began to get more and more violent. Pyre didn’t mind, after all he was getting more status and respect because of it. That meant he’d do whatever worked. Eventually though. It all came to a head with that job. An assassination. Killing some random idiot who he didn’t know nor care about. Pyre accepted without thinking. That was good. He was to be a fall guy after all. The day came and the assassin lined his shot up. Pyre was there, ready and waiting. Unaware his cue was different to his comrade. When the assassin’s shot missed he escaped. Pyre did not. It was an interesting experience for Pyre to be beaten half to death like he was. His blood spilling all over the floor of the target’s house. After a few more minutes, something within Pyre just...broke. He finished the contract and then he finished off the gang that betrayed him. Balacundi was the last and Pyre made sure to end him slowly. After that, Pyre realised something. He’d make a living out of what he did to them. An assassin had power over life and death and that-that- was perfect for him. Finding his mask, cloak and gun was perhaps the second time in his life he felt proud. The second was being able to call himself an assassin. Now with his life set back in check, Pyre had only one goal. Become the most powerful person he could and make sure that one day, gnats like his parents would be bowing to him. Of course, after his goal was set an offer was floated his way. The Asche Syndicate would pay him handsomely for his work and they always needed an extra pair of hands right? Plus, being in something like that meant more security for himself and that was good for him.
