As Nasrin struggled with her shirt, Jackie spoke up behind her "That's alright, I don't mind, really, I've just done many things I'm not proud of." To Nasrin this seemed.. Untrue, to say the least. She minded, it was obvious that she minded based on the response to every question she'd asked so far. She would address that later.
Then Jackie ran up behind her, stopping the futile attempts at ripping the shirt by placing a hand over Nasrin's, which given the near kiss earlier was enough to make her pause to look up at the taller woman with no small amount of confusion. "W-wait just a moment. You're not really going to ruin your shirt just to tie up some sticks, are you?" That ought to have been pretty damn clear considering I'm trying to rip it right now she thought, but let Jackie continue. Maybe she had rope after all, or a better alternative. That'd be nice. And she was blushing again, like a tomato she was, always red at the slightest provocation it seemed. Nasrin was tempted to kiss the hand then, see where exactly Jackie was willing to take all this, but decided against it. For now anyways.
As if in response to being stared at again, Jackie continued. "H-hey, you're letting me borrow this right? So there's no need to ruin any of your clothes, not when mine are already mostly ruined to begin with." And it seemed she had already made her mind up about doing her own suggestion over Nasrin's, and there really wasn't much she could do in protest. So she watched as the other girl took off the borrowed coat, ripped the sleeves off of her sweater and place both into Nasrin's hand. And she kept going. She took off the sweater, and then turned away to remove the shirt she had worn underneath it as well. And the tattoos that revealed were just as breathtaking as the first. Shockingly so. The pain it must have been to get all these done must have been insane, maybe the shy girl was tougher than she seemed, she'd have to be for all this, right? Jackie put the sweater and jacket back on, and then began to tear up her ruined shirt into strips. She did so quickly, as if she wanted to get it over with before she could realise what she was doing. Maybe that's how the thing with the bartender happened too, get it over with quick so you can't think about it.
"Here." The other huntress handed over the strips that had once been her shirt as well, adding them to the scraps of her sweater in Nasrin's hand. And then she returned to her rock and looked anywhere other than towards Nasrin as she spoke. "How about you? I-I've already seen your semblance so..." She doubted herself, this seemed to happen a lot. "Never mind," She corrected. "Forget I asked. I will think of another question."
Nasrin for her part put her shirt back on and re-tied the sleeve over her stump with some help from her teeth as per usual. She took the scraps of clothing over to the shelter and started to dismantle all of her hard work. Now that she knew where things would fit, and that she had enough wood to work with, all that was left to tie everything together and then secure it to the rock. Easy. For someone with two hands anyways. Nasrin was not one of those people, and a task that might be ten minutes for someone else would easily take her an hour. So she started now, and would continue working as the conversation moved on.
"Naw it's fine. Fastest for me? Two days. Me and this girl were staking out a spot for a protest we were gonna do at the end of the week. Had plenty of time alone, got to know eachother. One thing led to another and soon we were sleepin' together every night-" She was interrupted as she had to use her teeth to finish a knot around the first two branches, pulling the fabric as tight as she could manage before moving onto the next link. "At least until I chose to stay here and she moved off to someplace else." Nasrin briefly turned to face Jackie, mostly to check if she had decided to look back this way yet or not, but also to try and make eye contact for the next bit. "Look. I think I know your type. Shy n'shit, you doubt yourself a lot. Tattoos even say so. But I want you to do something for me, yeah? Tell me the truth, all the time. I don't say please often, but-" Another pause as she tightened the next knot. "-in this case, if we're supposed to get to know each other, which I assume is the real point of all this shit we're supposed to do, I can't do that if you're lying to me. What I asked bothered you, I could see it on your face, own up to that. Tell me to fuck off if I do something dumb, I'd do the same to you."
She continued working in silence for a few minutes, giving time for Jackie to respond if she chose to, and if not then she was giving herself time to work in silence. Made it a lot easier to tie the knots if she wasn't talking, she needed those teeth as finger-replacements after all. As she finished segments of the wall, Nasrin began to pile them all up off to one side, creating a big alternating stack of tied together sticks and logs. After the first two segments a break was called for, and she used that break to spray paint some pretty abstract graffiti roses on the wall segments she had finished. This was her house, and everyone who saw it was gonna know damnit. About halfway through her second rose she spoke up again.
"I've got one more question, figure it's best to get out of the way now before the tension gets so thick I could skate on it. You almost kissed me, we can acknowledge that. Are you into me or what? You seem real shy about all that so I have my doubts, but if you're being honest now which I really hope you are, I'd like the air clear on that at least. Once you answer that," She tossed aside the spray can once she'd finished the rose and got back to tying. she was speaking off-handedly, just a normal conversational tone like all this was stuff she was used to dealing with. "I know two of your secrets, you know three of mine. I'll consider the answer to that question your third one, yeah? Then I want you to ask me two more questions, we'll get this over with right now."
And then back to tying she went, keeping an ear out for Jackie's response, but focusing most of her attention on the task at hand.
