*Note: Sol's weapons are intended to be the ranged and melee configurations of a single weapon system. Since most do not have to upgrade the modes of their weapons separately, I'd like to combine the entries into a single entry covering both weapons to prevent confusion. Also I'd like to then spend exp to upgrade them.

[font color="7bddd5"][b]Description of Weapons(s):[/b][/font] Whisper and Roar are the names for Sol's sword and arm respectively. Whisper is a single edged curved blade, sheathed in a scabbard that has been reinforced and fitted with a magazine of dust cartridges that can eject the blade from the sheath at ballistic velocities. This style of blade is commonly called a "Kriegmesser" or "Cannon-Blade". Whisper's hilt has been modified to interface with the palm of Sol's right hand, allowing him to project ignited fuel through the vents on the spine of the blade, further accelerating cuts and strikes delivered by the sword. Whisper's sheath is hung either from Sol's hip, or fixed to a bracer that allows it to run parallel to Sol's left forearm. Sol can trigger the dust magazine, either manually with a trigger near the sheath's mouth, or remotely using his aura, as might be needed when the sheath is mounted to his wrist. Roar is a complex prosthesis fitted to replace the entirety of Sol's right arm from shoulder down. Intended to perform the function of both his missing hand and semblance, Roar houses a fuel tank of mixed air and fire dust, and can ignite this fuel and eject it from vents arranged along the arm with notably large ports at shoulder, elbow and palm. Sol can augment his own mobility by controlling these ports and adjusting the angle of his arm. By closing all the ports save that in the palm and a few along the forearm to compensate for recoil, Sol can spray a stream of ignited plasma from his hand, up to 12m long, or lob a ball of fuel up to 24m where it explodes on impact.[*/code]

I'd like to make a change to Sol's physical description, just to emphasize that he goes to a lot of effort to conceal his disfigurements.
Standing at about six feet tall and weighing in at about one hundred and eighty pounds, Sol would cut an imposing figure of lean powerful muscle and angular bone structure were it not for the conspicuous absence of his right arm and eye. He often goes garbed in an eye patch in addition to a sophisticated prosthetic that while organic in shape could never be mistaken for the real thing. Sol favors a long fringe and sleeves to obscure these disfigurements but would not be likely admit to it. His remaining eye is a nearly metallic gold in hue, sometimes trending towards an acidic sulfurous yellow, , framed by a prominent epicanthic fold, while his straight, oft tied back, hair is nearly black. He goes clean shaven, but might be seen sporting a dense growth of stubble late into the day, that stands out starkly against his pale complexion.
Sol's wardrobe consists of equal parts finery and protection, with a definite paramilitary aesthetic. Jack boots, swallow tailed riding cloaks, parade pants, and lacquered articulated breastplates form the foundation of his style, all of which adorned richly in reds and blues and often sporting the eponymous fragmented aspect of Remnant's moon as his family crest.
Sol's equipment, including his armor, weapons, and uniform are kept in immaculate condition, pressed meticulously free of wrinkles, polished to a blinding shine, and are prone to receive maintenance priority over his own physical well-being. Only in the most extreme of circumstances will Sol be seen with his uniform or gear out of order.
Sol goes to great pains to do as much as possible to conceal his disfigurements, notably his missing eye and arm. He wears his hair long on the right side, even when the rest of it is tied back, and allows it to hang down in front of his missing eye, and wears a plain black patch to better camouflage it against the shade of his hair. While from a distance this can hide the truth, up close it only makes the effort more obvious. Similarly in regards to his missing arm, and prosthesis, Sol exclusively wears long sleeves and gloves, even when the weather would make that seem unlikely. This tends to be enough to prevent it from being obvious, but alert observers might notice that Sol's right arm tends to move strangely and stiffly, and those with keen ears may note the quiet whine of actuators when it does so.

Threats struggle to target Sol additionally because of the hazard posed by being around him, and with sword or semblance Sol is capable of deflecting or halting both melee and ranged assaults.

His mastery of using explosive ejections from extremities, combat prosthesis, and the ballistic sheath of his sword, to augment his speed translate to blindingly fast draw cuts , and combinations strikes using every part of his body.
Sol was formerly a far more competent combatant, but a growing familiarity with the strengths and weaknesses of his implants and prosthesis has seen him take the first steps in returning to his former glory.

What Sol's ranged options lack in subtlety they make up for in being very forgiving in terms of accuracy. The plasma grenades and flamethrower modes of his prosthetic, as well as the dust cartridge blast of Whisper's scabbard all boast wide areas of effect that more than compensate for Sol's missing eye.
