So, Rin would obviously need a place to stay here at Haven. A designated room, to store all of the belongings that she did not have. The past few days had been spent in the infirmary. In part to have someone looking after the nasty burns she had received on her first day at the academy, in part to make sure that her mental state wasn't completely out of whack after pulling a smoldering corpse out of a burning building mere hours after arriving at the academy. From there, Erytheia had been fairly vigilant about checking up on the redheaded cousin, which Rin had appreciated greatly. No one else had had the chance of getting to know her yet, thus no one really had any incentive to visit. Frankly, Rin would be surprised if any of the others even knew she was in the infirmary, beyond the statistics given to them after the incidents themselves. Without Theia, it would've probably been quite the lonesome affair. Though, in honesty, having Erytheia, the heiress, looking after one of the servants to the family, felt incredibly wrong. Rin needed to get back onto her feet so that she could resume her duties. So that she could prevent Erytheia wasting time on pointless things. Rin was standing outside the main offices of the academy, with her out-of-date scroll, trying to figure out how she was going to sign up for a room. Let alone, which room she was meant to sign up for. As far as she understood, there were currently more room than students, so perhaps the most apt idea would be to pick a room for herself. Yet, being in a room too far from Erytheia would mean that, to assist the heiress with cleaning or other duties, Rin would have to trek an awfully far distance to get there. Not to mention, Rin wasn't even rightfully sure which room belonged to Erytheia to begin with. Rubbing the bridge of her nose, Rin found a chair to sit on, plopping the scroll down and searching through the different options. Having arrived here dutifully early, the offices hadn't even opened yet. The moment they did open, she'd be darting inside asking for assistance...
Rin was sitting there in simple, casual clothes. A black sweater with the Haven Academy marker over her left breast, a shirt with a tie underneath, ending up just above a tartan colored skirt. Stockings to keep her skin a little warm since it was a colder period of the year, ending up in a pair of winter esque boots with a couple of inches heel. The ordeal with picking a room wasn't actually that bad to Rin. Mostly because she always had the option, or at least so it seemed, to pick a room that was currently vacant. A far more troubling dilemma that would unfold in the near future, was getting through all the classes, all of her classmates, all of the social interactions. Shuddering, goosebumps spread across her skin like a wildfire. Social interactions with the people whom Alra had convinced her were never going to be her friends. Individuals whom, if Rin wasn't extremely cautious and careful, would chew her up and spit her out.
Looking at the clock with a disinterested gaze, there wouldn't be many more minutes until the office would open up. There was already some individuals moving around inside, probably preparing to take on the students. that would inevitably arrive with questions, such as Rin herself. For the moment, all of Rin's belongings were stashed in a corner of the infirmary by the bed she had spent time in. Rin didn't exactly have a whole lot with her. A simple suitcase with clothes and a backpack with bathroom things. For someone coming out of a rich family, she seemed more like the unwanted child than an actual member. An unfortunate asessment, that if one asked Alra, probably wasn't far from the truth. The cursed child with the red hair, responsible for the death of her beloved sister.
Shuddering again, Rin nervously twirled some of her red locks between her fingers. The color of blood. The color of her mother's blood. Soaked deeply into every strand...

The noble warrior stood, and the people looked to her.
For she was a beacon - hope given form, yet still only human. Within that truth there was great promise. If one could stand against the night, then so too could anyone - everyone.
In her hand the warrior held a Rose. And her aura burned bright.

It had taken Erytheia a good few seconds as she stepped through the door to realize that the bed that had been holding her cousin for the last two days was now conspicuously empty. That being said, however, Rin's belongings were still arranged around the foot of the raised hospital bed, and her name was still on the roster for students still being held at the infirmary. The only other name listed on the roster was one Braun Baer, who had apparently tried to stop the crazed student Nayamasa from killing his way through the dormitory and paid for it with grievous wounds. Still in critical condition, the young man had been sequestered in his own room which wasn't accessible to visitors, but the Hellebore heiress had caught a glimpse once as she'd walked past. An unmoving form hooked up to various machines was all she saw before Doctor Haragitanai shut the door behind her, and she'd swallowed against a suddenly dry throat.
Not for the first time, she had wondered if she should have been there, and if she would have fared any better. Would she have been able to prevent this from coming to pass, or would she have been the one to be lying there instead, hovering on the edge between life and death? She had never known Braun very well, but he had performed admirably in combat and was well trained, and had a good track record on combat missions, the one which had restored the Argus Limited notably among them. His bulk wasn't fat, either, but muscle, well built and strong - muscle that her form had always lacked. While there was always strength required to wield a weapon as heavy and powerful as Irkalla, she had focused on building a body that prioritized agility - the steps of a dancer, not the charge of a tank. And without that strength within her form, it was a good bet that when her Aura broke, she would not fare nearly as well as Baer when it came to enduring injuries of such magnitude.
It was a sobering thought. But he had to be fine, didn't he? There was Doctor Haragitanai working round the clock to stabilize him, and Haven was more than well equipped for her needs. He would be fine.
Despite the frequency with which her inner misgivings and thoughts of how she might have changed the outcome bounced through her head after seeing that sight, they had faded away when she had come to check up on her cousin. To put it simply, if brutally honest, Rin's wellbeing was of far greater concern to Erytheia than a student whom she'd never personally interacted with. That concern stemmed from deeper down, from feelings that had been buried since she'd stopped seeing said cousin on a regular basis, before puberty had set in, but they were out now in full force, and she fussed over the other girl as much as she would allow.
It was nice to take care of Rin for once.
But Rin wasn't here now, and her anxiety at losing track of her continued to build, only barely eased by the continued presence of her items in the room. A quick peek into the attached bathroom revealed no Rin, as did a glance around the corridors outside. Her thumb rubbed over the knuckle of her index finger in a nervous fashion, tracing the scars beneath and feeling the fine cloth crease between them - the Hellebore heiress exhaled softly, centered herself, and moved to track down her lost cousin.
"Now, if I were a Rin..."
The blonde murmured to herself quietly, gliding her way down the corridor with her customary grace. Unfocused eyes glanced out the windows through which the morning sun was streaming through on her left - but not seeing the scenery spread out before her, instead focused inward upon her own thoughts.
"...what could make me get out of mandated bed rest for... no, that would be the wrong question to ask, would it not? What would be the most important thing that I would proceed to do first after..."
Trailing off, the Hellebore heiress' red eyes lit up with a satisfactory conclusion, and she turned on her heel to sweep down the stairs and out into the courtyards, her stride now filled with purpose and direction. And sure enough, when she had made her way to the offices, there was a familiar redheaded, small form lost in thought, a welcome enough sight that she raised a hand as she made her way towards the other girl, calling out in greeting even though a few dozen feet still separated the two of them.
"Riiiiiiin!"
