TRP is a post-Great War AU RWBY RP set in Mistral City and Haven Academy with no canons, no rank claims, no maidens, and no god interference. We offer a progression system and site-wide events that change the setting based on player actions.
Since the signups for the Argus Limited section are closing very soon, I wanted to make an alternative available to the newer wave of characters that will likely be completed after the signups are closed.
This thread will be open to four people and will entail the trainees guarding one of the side gates on the north end of the capital from all comers. The city is in a state of lockdown with all licensed huntsmen off on the offensive against the bandits and many trainees gone to protect the train, and those too new or too unsure of themselves to come along for that mission are still going to be able to help out the city from the very probable threat of the Grimm attacks due to the heightened negative emotions that come with any conflict.
Every thread associated with this will have the [Event] tag slapped on the thread title which means that every post in that thread will have 200% XP. Having a completed thread in this section entitles your character to 1 Event Point which can be exchanged for 250XP. This event is injury enabled, which means that your character can suffer injury up to but not including death without player consent. It is not death enabled and therefore carries less risk and reward than the Death Enabled train section. This event section has a difficulty rating of E.
Simply post below to sign up for this event, and signups will close on July 19th or when we get four people -- whichever comes first. Second characters can sign up for this mission starting July 17th, but before then are not allowed following the same rules as the train thread. That rule is that if the player does not DM any event threads, they cannot have a second character in the event.
Since this is a bigger group thread, the usual event rules of 48 hour timers are going to be a thing. Each person will have two extensions for the duration, which will likely be around six posting cycles total. This is done to make sure that the thread is completed before next February, essentially, like every timer.
Update since we have 3/4 early on and the main branch is moving along faster than expected:
If last spot remains unclaimed by July 15th, I'll let RNG decide which 2nd character gets first dibs on the last spot in the bot channel for everyone to see.
EDIT: RNG chose Kishka to be the fourth and final member of this team.
